Morning everyone.
A busy and productive day - with lots done, and DH being a superstar again.- 2x washloads of DH's stuff washed and out on line
- load of my stuff now in
- towels rescued from TD
- DH has swept and hoovered all of downstairs including the porch
- DH has cleaned the bathroom, and wiped round some of the window frames upstairs
- DH has made me bacon butties and then washed all pots up
- DH is now varnishing the outside table with a 2nd coat
I suppose i should be doing some school work while DH is outside and DS in bed, but i thought i would pop in here first.
Anyway, will try to do some more then pop back later.
Michelle, x0 -
Just rescued the laundry before it takes of, blimey it's just got VERY windy our there. Brrrrrrrrrr! Will hang that on airers upstairs in a mo. Autumn definately on it's way I think, might see if I can find that door curtain.
Michelle, sounds like your partners definately changed for the better lately, any tips on how to transform the couch spud I live with ? :rotfl:
Seem to have hit a blip with packing boxes, running out of boxes, wonder where I will be able to get some.........One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Right back here to check in on what is left to do. Feels like it should be about 5pm but that could be because I've been up and doing jobs since 8am  OH will think I've lost it again, but I just want everything done so we can spend the night together talking - something we've been doing alot of lately (talking that is, not spending time together though:rolleyes: ) DD's been helping me out to earn back her pocketmoney. I started off owing her £10 and everytime I had to tell her off for something it went down £1, and then back up by 50p when she was good
She's currently at £7.50. If she keeps out my way and lets me get the laundry finished then I'll let her have the full £10 back when I get paid next week. OH's grandad rang before and when I told him DD was busy cleaning her bedroom to earn her pocketmoney he went "thats more than what her nanna did" :rotfl: I somehow don't think MIL would agree with that :rotfl::rotfl:

Right, last load of washing has just finished so I guess I better get the stuff together to go the laundrette after I've finished hoovering so I can mop before we go out... oh my head hurts from thinking :rotfl::rotfl: Laters :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Afternoon all. Lovely and sunny here again but breezy - I think I'll double peg the washing.
Decided to hoover on top of our wardrobe today as I bought a couple of christmasey bits yesterday and this is where I keep the stash. Decided to then do inside - clothes already done. Found 2 large bags of paperwork which still needed sorting from Dad so sat and did all that. It was hard ditching all the paperwork about the pension he had saved for and never lived long enough to retire but I have done it now. Oh now has a massive pile to shread.
Right lunch and a little bit of time in the garden whilst the boys watch the grand prix and then to hoover DS1 and DS2 bedrooms which they have been tidying. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

shell 2001good idea about jellies for DD lunch box- she love them. I will go and make some now
solwaykidthanks for the post about Heroes- having being longing to see it so watched first 2 episodes last night and got ironing completely up to date again- including all the school uniform on a Saturday night!!! . This has never happened before. (Like quite a lot of other domestic things I had never done beofre joining this thread).
Had nice day yesterday after a chaotic start. Dishwasher wasn't working so DH phoned repair man who sugested pulling it out and tipping it backward to dislodge anything in the waste pipes which worked a treat but exposed all the dust and grime behind it. Ended up taking of base boards down one (long) side of kitchen and cleaing underneath and behind them. Wasn't what I ws planning on saturday morning but its done now. Still managed to go to market for fruit and veg, get bits from Morrisons for DS1 food tech, go for long walk with DD and friend of mine and her son and cook curry for us all for tea (regular Saturday night treat).
Also sucessfully bid for DS3 new flute book on ebay- can spend a fortune on music books I find
DS3 enjoying secondary school but have to make model of plant cell this weeek with wall paper paste mixture, pingpong ball and lots of little polystene balls coloured green for chloroplasts!!!! Tried shop in town for polystyrene balls will phone craft shop on Monday.
today must- water and feed pots
- sort out DS3 room so I can get in and out
- go for walk
- admire empty ironing basket
- start to tackle paperwork
- finish on-line shop

DS1 wants jellies in his lunch again which must mean he's getting more comfortable eating at school as it takes him a lot of effort to eat things with a spoon and is very aware of it.
One of mine just read that over my shoulder and now wants jelly in his lunch.. do you put it in lidded tubs so it doesn't spill?? I have plastic spoons they could use.. or they could use a school one I guess. Just nipping out to buy some fruit and veggies for dinner and the chiblies lunches.
Loaf no#1 cooking.. We need 2 today.. one for brekkie and one for lunches.
back in a bit.. I'll post this weeks list about 6ish if I can!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

DS2 has taken his jeans off, now running round in his nappy singing the pee-pee song.... He needs to hurry up and be ready for potty training...
I have to iron
Do dishes
Make dinner
Thats all I plan on doing today. Its Sunday.
DS2 is scared of jelly.... May make some just for entertainment... or is that cruel? :rotfl:0 -
Pigpen I make jellies in little lidded pots (got from Mr T's when they were 6 for £1 earlier this year) and send with plastic spoon.I might try and persuade her to have fruit in them as well next time I make them . Have made banana flapjack for lunch boxes (a bit of an experiment to use up 3 overripe banas- will let you knwo how they turn out.
I NEED a paerwork challenge- I was very god on the ironing one and still have an empty ironing basket...
DS1 thinks I can watch the other episode of Heroes on line- will se if he's right. Loved episodes one and two..0
