3 big boxes of paperwork down to half a small box, what a great feeling, might have to throw a child in the bins this week to squish them down however :rotfl:
Wrote a list of what we need to take with us and what we need to just fling (all flooring apart from our bedroom to be flung) also a list of what we need to buy for here, things like ceiling light fittings as we've put other light fittings up, plaster to fill any holes, paint for the hall (keep council sweet as still on waiting list for elsewhere) some wire fencing as we're taking the fence I paid £600 for with us (kids here would only smash it and burn it) regardless of which house we get it needs doing.
Right coffee is finished suppose I best do some more, actually finding it ok so far which is good, not in any mad rush just yet which helps. Trying to decide what to tackle next, might do the wardrobe that has our old/occasional stuff in.....now where did I put the bin bags. One day I might be more organised...........

Hope it goes well shell
No haven't moved yet, will in a mo, think 1/2 hour declutter challenge before getting boys ready & going to airport. I've given up getting them to help as their room looks worse than when they started and reluctant to part with even broken things, looks like it's just me then. One day I might be more organised...........

Confession time for me i'm afraid:o
I have not done a single thing yet today!!!
My sister & I have been spending all our time trying to convince mum to buy 2 Kunekune's (small pigs):D
Mum & dad are the only ones with enough land to keep them on and they are sooooooooo cute.
My sister has taken mum away for the weekend as a birthday treat (mum's 60th on 18th) and has, very conviniently, found several places to take her that have some Kunekune's.
We are bringing her round to the idea (they are easier to train than a dog, can be taught to sit, lay down, come to their name, beg etc).
Only thing that is really holding us back now is the flaming movement restrictions due to foot and mouth:mad:
Anyway, I am determind to fly like the wind now and catch up:rolleyes:'We can get over being poor, but it takes longer to get over being ignorant'

Shirley - It's a pity that we don't live closer, we are ratless for the first time in 10 years and I really miss not having any of my little characters around
The last ones we had were 5 boys (only meant to get 2 but didn't have the heart to leave the others behind!).
We used to referr to them as 'Take Rat' and 'Boyz 'r' us':o
Anyway, good luck with your new litters'We can get over being poor, but it takes longer to get over being ignorant'

phfew.. time for a sit down and a cuppa..
Done a good bunch of wm loads but still a bunch to go.
Good news is, I folded it all up as soon as it came out of the dryer.. so now I do have a table full of clothes, but they are all neatly folded in piles per person.
weekly shop done by DH
everything packed up and put away.
Kid's bedding in the WM righ now.
Little squirt still not feeling well but a bit better than yesterday. She spends most of her time lying on the couch watchin tv, but she's getting chatty again so that's a good sign.

Hey, hope everyones having a lovely Sunday
I didnt do much Wed onwards as i was sooooo busy, just came home slept and went to work in the am. So i am on a mission today,
WM x 4 (4 done and finding more) - all hanging out to dryincludes the throw that was meant to do last week
[strike]Paperwork[/strike] - just been through everything and i mean everything i have paperwork wise and completely condensed it like lil_me. Got a bag to take to work to shred on mon and my recycling men will love me with the un-personalized bits!
[strike] Washing up [/strike]:o
Wash windows
[strike] Vacuum house all over
Dust bedroom[/strike]
[strike]Floordrobe[/strike]
[STRIKE] Change bed and wash - now debating whether to do that tomorrow
Wipe down the stairs[/STRIKE]
[strike] Clean bathroom - everything!!!
Clean out my hoover -[/strike] Thanks pigpen
Look through my medicine box and see if i need anything - Thanks pigpen
[STRIKE] Mop downstairs[/STRIKE]
Then when ive finished cleaning im going to have a shower and flop for the evening with a curry and bottle of wine.
Right so i suppose i should get on with it.... It seems such a long list when i look at it, and im not going to get chance to chop any wood either. But the chimney sweep is booked (for 4th Oct!) Right !!!!! kick into gear and get on with it. Oh and the kitchen desperately needs monday coming around as its a tip, clean but a tip but i cant be !!!!!d to do it!!
See you later....
Bit of an update and see what i have left... Stairs and mop downstairs next. Do i do the bed tomorrow or today? no i will do it today. Right strip bed taking cloth to wipe stairs on way down.
Yay that will do! Windows will have to be done next week (or tomorrow) and im going to go have a shower and crack open that bottle of wine im going to go put in the freezer.0 -
Tonight is our unhealthy something with chips tea so I'm just going to shove something from the freezer into the oven.
Took DS to get his Big Wild Read medal this morning, then we went to 2 jumble sales. Bought one of those lovely glass star shaped light shades for 75p from one and a lovely grey Florence and Fred grey suit from the other for 40p.
Back home I had a thumping headache so went to bed with a hot water bottle for an hour after taking painkillers.
DH and I have done a bit of work in the garden this afternoon and that's about it.
Washing in from the line needs ironing, may do that tonight or tomorrow morning, depends on my mood after tea I think!
Need to do a bit of money updating against online account and have a look at ideas for Christmas cards/presents.
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.
