Morning all.
Didn't get much in the way of jobs done last night as I started feeling sick - I think its' the whole being in the house on my own overnight with DD still so I ended up going to bed at 9pm  Up and wide awake at 7.50 so I'm setting too now. Just thought I'd best log on and get the email in - 315+ and there was only 1 that wasn't spam! Best get on. We need to go to the laundrette today with the bedding as it's due to rain from 11am  Laters :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Morning. Had a bit of a mad one yesterday, making food all day for the party and then out last night. Feel very, very ick this morning but wasn't actually drunk which is werid. DH was very drunk, the first time in about 2 years bless him so he doesn't do it often, managed to get him to bed and for some reason he wanted to sleep on the floor so left him there. An hour later he throws up (sorry if your eating!) all over the floor, the curtains, the bed, my jeans on the floor. To say I was very, very angry is an understatement!!! So stripped off the bed in the middle of the night, scrubbed the carpet and I went into the spare bed and DH slept on the spare bedroom ensuite floor. So hes presently upstairs cleaning his mess with the worst hangover ever! LOL.
So suppose flying needs to be done today and bedding in wash, etc. Out for lunch later so at least no cooking. Oh, and my trick worked! Load of ironing left and MIL has done it! Enjoy your sunday folks!Lightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!

Lovely to hear from you Jill - ahhh! I remember those first heady few weeks with a new baby. So wish I could go back in time and relive those memories (note go back in time and not have another:D ), I do envy you all those firsts though. Hope DS and DD1 are enjoying the new addition too.
Well sat at work at mo and thinking of what I need to do when I get home so here is the list:-
Make jelly for DD1 packed lunch
Pizza for tea (DH been left the task of putting stuff in BM)
Get washing off line
IRONING - this must get done, will set timer for an hour
Make loaf or onion and chive rolls for pack-ups (will see what they fancy)
Bath and wash littles hair  lots of screaming will be hear from my house later!
Think that is all the essentials. DD2 starts preschool tomorrow pm so hoping to do the flying tasks while she is there. I will be back onboard fully now, noticed the doors are looking a bit dusty and grubby so looking forward to a good deep clean rather than the S&S of the summer hols. Not looking forward to the oven task though, that is a very scary thought.
DH is meant to be mowing the back garden today so weeding will need doing but think that will be a tuesday job as have been given rain for tomorrow.
Off to see Rusty the jack russell when I leave work today - girls love him so no pressure for me to like him :rotfl: .
Hope everyone has a good day.0 -
Tracy well done for making him clean his own
I would do the same has anyone got a vax he can borrow to get it out of the carpet ?
Brisket in, sticking to my meal plan for a change but had to go and get some shopping, only spend £4.65 in what I need for this weeks meal plan and DSs lunches, so hoping I don't need anything else before next weekend. Desperately trying to run stocks down and save some money. I might need some fruit but that's all. Thinking if I can spend under £15 for the week more for the moving pot. If we get the house we like there is one thing it lacks which is cupboard space, I've got 13 and a pantry at the minute which are quite fullso need to use up and reduce it.
DP is on his way to his Dad's to ask him if he's willing to be guarantor for us, I know he feels awkward doing so but would solve that problem for us, my parents can't as Dad is retired and Mam works part time. So another time for fingers crossed. His Dad was concerned about us being able to afford it so DP has a list of figures, see even if we put away £100 for car repairs a month and I allow £500 for food etc budget (I spend much less but wanted to put extra to make sure we can cover all areas) we're still left with over £350 a month even if DP only earns his basic, which he's earned at least £100 more a week than for over a year. Don't think most people have that disposable each month.
Shell hope the visit to see Rusty goes well, sounds like you will have a battle on your hands if you don't like him.
Best go and check through what I have left to do, need to add to it aswell for some jobs for today, DS1 wants jellies in his lunch again which must mean he's getting more comfortable eating at school as it takes him a lot of effort to eat things with a spoon and is very aware of it.One day I might be more organised...........
