    Hey Ramble,

You have the emergence fund though which is great. I know we don't like spending them but how much more stressful would all this be if you didn't have that!!!!

    Xx

Too true - but once it has gone....(sobs into tea cup!!)

Hey PSL. We're pretty well stocked for the rest of the month, and courgettes and tomatoes are still fruiting, but it's just so frustrating!

Hadn't even though about being extra nice to DH....that's such a lovely kind thought. My thoughts have ranged between stropping out and saying I told you so a hundred times! He loves gardening so flowers probably would work. You're inspiring me to be a better person, so I will try to find some way to cheer him up tomorrow (free and very MSE of course!)

Hey dear diary and beautiful people.
1 week and counting until major work thing. BUSY. sigh. I'd like to crawl under a rock for a week.

In other news, the old computer stuff listed by DH on the Bay, is going great. He bought it all from someone on the Book of Face for £25 - a amiga 1200 computer and probab;y 2000 games- mostly copies. Listed in 4 lots and so far it's up to £200 on ebay with 3 days to go!!!! Will all go towards paying for his yard so that's great news. With that and selling a trailer, hopefully we won't have to steal too much from the tax fund.

Wishing everyone sunshine, laughs and fun x

  • Great news on the computer. Ramble you deserve all the goodness. Hope it goes well. Very pleased for you. Being married or living with someone is very hard. If I was half as good as you I would be doing it! But very easy to look from the outside, not so easy when you are in it. Trust me i was not single for ever. I drove him mad and he left after 7 years. i never met anyone I liked half as much. So I think it is rather you that is the good person here! Wishing you well for the now and for your big thing coming up. xxx

Hey PSL. If you decide you are ready for it, someone worth putting up with will come along (and be very lucky to have you)

The work week of DOOM is upon me - seriously need to find some positive get up and go. Feeling very ineffective and negative...almost like I am sabotaging things to go wrong!! Need to find positive head and put it back on (I will survive!!) Going to do a hypnosis track tonight to try and find my positivity mojo. When I was carrying my 5th pregnancy, I saw a hypnotist to try and help me cope with the stress and worry about losing the baby, and it really helped...so hoping her influence can help me get through this week!!! ....yes grasping straws!

  • Thank you ramble. I hope you are ok. Sunday nights can hold a lot of trauma and work isn't always good for our souls. If you have stress relieving or censoring techniques then can only be good thing to use them.

Now get your positive mojo out the cupboard and use it to its fullness! xxx

Ramble, hope your working week goes ok. Is the BIG thing a one off day thing or does it last longer? I hate feeling stressed about work, it affects so many other aspects of life.

I agree living with someone is hard. Compromise and biting your tongue are the best things to make it work. My OH and I come from very different backgrounds/upbringings, that causes tension. But I love him and it seems to work....most of the time.

    Soon be Friday :T
  • Morning Ramble,

I hope your meditation helped and your ready to grab this work week by the horns! You've been preparing yourself for it now it's time to crack on and smash it! Remember to have a few treats this week where you can. A cheeky coffee and a cake and a nice bubble bath, maybe plan a nice Friday meal with DH and a film to keep you going until the end of the week.

    Xx

Hello you lovely people. Managed to have a reasonable day and am feeling brighter.

Louby, it's a big one off event. The good news is, I only have to do it once as it will be someone else's turn next year!!

So news............Can you adam and eve it....the geeky old games & computer that DH bought off the book of face for £25 has just sold in 4 different lots for a total of ............drum roll please

    .................£561.85!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    :j:j:j:j:rotfl::j:j:j:j

Get me off the floor please. Nearly covers the £600 bill!!
DH, as you can imagine, is feeling pretty chuffed right now. Shame it will go on clearing a debt, we shouldn't really have to pay, but such is life.

Now we have to pack these things so they end up in one piece at the right place.

what a bonkers world we live in.
