Does anybody else make a habit of burning PINs?
I'm kind of paranoid with this stuff. For people who don't believe my story, well not much I can say. Surely I have better things to do then waste my time making !!!!!!!! up.
Matter of fact, I thank everyone for their input but I can't be bothered to pursue this anymore.
I just pretend I lost a bet.
And no it wasn't my girlfriend, because first she doesn't need my 20£ and second if she did , she just would ask with no problems.0 -

If it's the type that's printed on paper I shred it but if it's 1 of those you have to scratch off the back I tear out the bit with the pin on and just bin it.0 -

I just rip the PIN in half and put it in my bin. It's not much use to someone without the card which is safe in my purse. Burning seems OTT to me.0

I always change my PIN at the first opportunity so don't feel the need to destroy it.0 -
One question no one has asked is where was your girlfriend on the day in question at let's say about 2pm?0

Without getting drawn into the whole "cherchez la femme" issue, can I just say that anyone with an open fire or wood fuel stove (like I do) is very likely to burn their pin notification. Much easier than shredding!0
