If what you write is true, are sure you are not at fault in any way, then you could go through the banks formal complaints procedure. T

"Suggesting somebody else saw it and has used the card."
No one has access to my house. The card was hidden away.0 -
Why would I bother making all this up? really my life is too short. I'm just concern for the future and if something like this could happen again. The bank was Lloyds. thank you.0

In that case - if you are not using the account DESTROY the debit card.0 -
I would imagine the problem you will have is proving you didn't let someone else use the card or you took reasonable steps to safeguard the card and the PIN, given the card is still in your possession. I don't think you'll be getting your £20 back.0

Has the cashpoint got a camera attached ?
most of the ones attached to banks near me have0 -
not sure If it does. I don't even know what cashpoint is. I may try to call the bank again or better go to a branch and see if they can find out.0

my girlfriend did NOT use the card. She doesn't even know where the card is and even if she did she would not be using my card. She also does not know the pin. We are not teenagers here. Again this is not about the 20£ (would be nice to get them back) but to find out how this has have happened. I'm really puzzled. I can only think someone messed with it before it was posted.0

IF (and it's a HUGE if) someone "messed" with it before it was posted, how do you explain someone using your local ATM ? Cards aren't dispatched from your local branch. A fraudster wouldn't just take £20 and it wouldn't have been from your local ATM.0
