You don't say if you've tried to talk to your neighbours? If not this is definitely the first step.

Somehow I don't think that would work in this case::A:A:A:A

    H'mmm 5 kids or 5 dogs??, that's Hobsons choice in my mind.:o:o

Why on earth are you calling social services, they aren't the noise police.

What have your neighbours said when you expressed your concern about noise from the music etc.

Why would you expect a renter to pay for new guttering, that is the responsibility of a landlord. Renters don't get repairs for free, they pay this thing called rent. If you didn't want to pay directly for repairs why did you buy a house?

Personally I wouldn't want to live next to someone with that many dogs, nevermind with a dog run in the garden.

Remember you will have to declare any disputes with neighbours when you sell, so you need to weigh up the pros and cons.

Im not really sure what you mean? You chose to buy a house with all the financial implications that involves and you are both heavily in debt. Your neighbours are renting from a landlord. It is not the tenants responsibility for any of those things you mentioned, neither would it be if they were privately renting or renting from a HA.

Dont get me wrong your neighbours dont sound pleasant but then again neither do you or your attitude

You don't say if you've tried to talk to your neighbours? If not this is definitely the first step. Some people genuinely don't realise that they are annoying others. For example, they may not realise noise in the day time is an issue as they may not know you work nights.
You might also want to have an objective think about what's reasonable for you to have an issue with and what they should be expected to change beforehand. For example, with 5 kids, daytime noise would be expected, but throwing coals into your garden would definitely not.
At the moment your resentment of them for not working, getting free repairs, having lots of kids etc, which you can do nothing about, is getting a bit blurred with the issues of their genuinely unacceptable behaviour, and could lessen the impact of your complaints if you don't tone that down.
In any approach, either to them or if escalating to the council, stick to what you would like them to change, that is reasonable to expect, e.g., no noise after 11pm, no drugs where it can drift into your house etc. That way you sound more reasonable and likely to be taken seriously.
It might also be worth asking if other neighbours are affected, as if you do go formal a group complaint may have more impact.
On a cautionary note, and please don't take this the wrong way, your 5 dogs and dog run may give your neighbours ammunition for a retaliatory complaint about barking, smells, animals left while you're at work; and true or not, before you know it, you've got all out war between you. Another reason why an amicable resolve would be best if at all possible.
If you make a formal complaint, the usual advice is gather evidence, record noise, keep a diary, photographs of damage, call the police if a crime is committed, and get a ref number.
    Best of luck.

Yes we have tried and tried they seem too take it on board then a week or two later it starts again back too square one. The issue is the dad will tell them too turn it down etc but the mum doesn't she lets them have it on full belt, she can't control her kids. We subject she has alcohol/drink issues and drugs. We sat I think it was Friday gone and from 4-8pm the mum sat in the garden getting stoned and music was blaring and there was just her in.

Re my comments re guttering yes I appreciate council tenants and private tennants get stuff like this paid for by landlords housing associations etc but when your neighbours claim in benefits what I probably earn a year it's a kick in the teeth. When both me and my partner work and save and do overtime too get the 1100 quid built up too do ours, then the following week our neighbours get it done for free. I resent this fact I didn't realise child benefit was too pay for cannibis

Re my dogs yes I take that on board but they are never left alone so howling etc is not an issue, I have after the hot coals affair brought them indoors. My garden I keep it immaculate hosed down daily and I pick straight up if you get me.

Repeatedly smoking dope in front of five kids is not really appropriate behaviour is it hence the social services call

It would be better if you informed the police and they in turn made the referral.

People don't understand how having neighbours like these impacts your life. It is horrendous and makes your life a misery.

I would be phoning the police about the anti-social behaviour, social services about the screaming rows and the children witnessing drug taking, and also environmental health about the noise.

It can take month and months if not years, to resolve neighbour disputes though.

Not sure what the outcome will be...hopefully they may be evicted, or move somewhere else..

    Good luck!

it does i just want too come from work and spend my days off free from charva dance music and people bawling at each other.

I just hope dad is able too lend me money so i can get the back gutters off then my house will be slowly given a bit time water tight. We cant at the minute fix or do up any of the rooms upstairs at the back of house. We have finlock gutters and they knackered beyond repair.

I have spent all day working on my house today, i am trying too do this place up slowly without spending a fortune.
