I have printed out all the information on my account, you can never tell if it will disappear and all my emails while looking I noticed that all the bills are dated the same date in April 2018. We renewed our contract in February 2018. While looking at the emails I have discovered that they have backed dated the increase in tariffs of the the new contract to the start of our contract which was March 2017. This has resulted in a missing £400 for my gas account alone. I would advise everyone who can to print as much as you can and see if you have the same problem.0

Sadly that is a debt that Iresa owe & it is vanishingly unlikely that you will be paid. There is no way that a new supplier would take on compensation claims for the incompetence of a failed supplier.
oh well. And how about the non-financial aspect of the complaint? My final bill with my provider before Iresa was incorrect and Iresa were supposed to be chasing this with a dispute. This still needs to be fixed whoever my provider is, so will the general complaint and Ombudsman recommended action be passed forward to the new company, or will I have to start the whole process again?0 -

Oops, what did they do?
Oh, and did people know that Experian can now demand (with menaces) a data dump from energy suppliers that includes a lot of personal details, whether your account is up to date, and much more. If a supplier refuses, Experian can get Ofgem to force them to comply!
I'll try and find a link.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.0 -

Ofgem identified that Iresa was failing to meet several conditions in its energy supply licence :https://www.ofgem.gov.uk/publications-and-updates/iresa-provisional-order
My concern is that Iresa will treat its obligations regarding protecting customer personal data in a similar negligent manner.0 -

F@#$. My latest one was about £250. And I notice that the previously ordered and paid ombudsman credits are no longer showing on my "finance" tab.0 -

Sad to see them go as they were much better than the two suppliers we had previously Scottish Poweer and nPower. The latter were so bad they were "reading" a meter that has been replaced before they took over as suppliers.... How?
Iresa saved us plenty of money over the 15 months we have been with them.
As we are in credit I doubt we'll see any of that back!0
