The support ticket reply I have just received throws up some interesting info. Also, notice the date and time of the reply!
!
I also finally got a reply to my ticket - also issued late at night. Now this one is sorted, I can start the whole thing again for the next issue in my list!0 -
I’ve had such a dreadful experience of being an Iresa customer for just over a year when they repeatedly hiked up my monthly direct debits without reason and while my account was in credit, that I changed suppliers in December 2017, almost 3 months ago. Yet, Iresa have still not learnt anything from all my negative feedback sent directly to them. They haven’t even produced my final bill despite my new supplier sending an opening reading to them in December. And that is also the reason given to me by Iresa as to why they haven’t refunded my account credit back to me. It took over an hour on the phone to get through to their customer service department which I was forced to do as all my emails to them about refunding my account credit went unanswered. But, despite promising my refund in both January and February, I still haven’t received my own money back from this ridiculous supplier. They should be stripped of their licence.0

Been trying to log into my account since yesterday afternoon and this is the message that comes up on the Iresa website, anyone else had this problem?
"The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later"0 -

Just got another email off them to submit meter reading, one yesterday and another just now. Bit odd usually only get one.0

Also got the request to submit a meter reading twice and we are not being supplied by Iresa anymore!0

Despite being in substantial credit Iresa continues to block my transfer to Pure Planet, Iresa is even paying me interest on the CR! (Can't screen shot this just yet as their website is having capacity issues!) I tried calling and after 6 minutes had moved from caller 61 to 59. Bargain! Iresa looked good but does not have the capacity to deal with volume custom.
I always thought that Ofgem had the power to bite however, having done a little research it appears that Iresa clearly ignore Ofgem. Hence the "stiff ignoring" given to Ofgem's 2016 decision on the "Review of domestic debt objections". Perhaps I have Ofgem wrong and they have done something that I have missed? Pleased to be proven wrong!
In summary, I have not been billed, am not in debt and don't want to waste hours of my life waiting for a rather frazzled customer services drone to answer.
I assume that some kind of complaint to Ofgem is my only course of action?
Before I have my first crack at that I would appreciate any advice from the learned of this forum on how they would proceed with this situation. Yours in anticipation......0 -
Just trying to access an Iresa account and just get:
"Service Unavailable

You can raise a complaint via the supplier's complaints process then, after 8 weeks or Deadlock, you can escalate it to The Energy Ombudsman. Every complaint that goes to The Energy Ombudsman costs the supplier quite a sum of money outwith any compensation that might be awarded to the complainant.
In parallel, you can report the supplier to consumneraffairs@ofgem.gov.uk and ask for your situation to be taken into account as part of the ongoing investigation into Iresa. Ofgem is not the most dynamic of OF regulators, hence the need for more people to report potential infringements of Standard Licence Conditions to them. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
