Incorrect Delivery.

I have been reading a lot online, but I've not found a situation or answer which helps me.
Without going into too much detail here it goes.
I purchased a Royal Python (a snake) which was to get delivered to a location in Germany.
I paid a private reptile courier to pick up this Royal Python from the person I purchased it off.
On the courier form it just says Royal Python. I didn't specify on the private courier which Morph I ordered.
So, the delivery driver arrived and dropped off a Royal Python but a different morph than the one I ordered.
Let's call them snake A and snake B.
I purchased Snake A from a person in Germany who then gave snake A to my private courier who was just picking up a Snake, not specified if he's picking up Snake A or Snake B.
The delivery driver delivered snake B.
I prefer Snake B over Snake A now that I have him. I was just wondering what my rights are? He is now asking to switch snake A and B, but I'd really like to keep snake B. Am I legally allowed to do so?
From what I've read if I ordered 'Snake A' and he delivered 'Snake B' then he is legally allowed to switch them at his expense of delivery etc.
I only asked him to deliver 'Snake' but did not specify A or B.
I know posts like this can be confusing. I hope you all understand.
Thanks in advanced for your replies.

So the wrong snake was delivered. You want to keep the incorrect snake but the seller wants to exchange it for the correct one?
What is the price difference between snake a and snake b?0 -
I'm not sure on the price difference. Price doesn't matter. I just like how he looks.0
-
This is also correct. He delivered the wrong snake.0
-
im a bit confused, did the seller give the courier the wrong snake or did the courier give you a snake he should of been delivering to someone else, who is asking you to swap the snakes?0
-
The seller have him the correct snake.
The courier has made the mistake.0 -
in that case its simple you have no right to keep that snake it belongs to whoever paid for it0
-
I asked a courier to deliver a Royal Python. A Royal Python got delivered to my house.
The value of my snake may be higher. I don't know. I just don't know if I legally have to swap them or if I have a right to keep it.0 -
the snake doesnt belong to the courier though does it he should of been delivering it to someone else presumably so therefore it was not/is not his property to give to you, he has made a mistake yes but if you dont give it back to him knowing it was delivered by mistake then it would be theft0

I don't get it - how did he manage to get a different snake if he only picked up Snake A?0
