There is an operation available for weak/lazy bladder. It is fairly simple and is usually carried out as a day case. Results can be quite dramatic.

    How do I know? I've had one:D

I had two ops. Both times I was in hospital for a week afterwards. It's usually a day case but not for everyone.

WOW. No one has really insulted you! People saying things you don't like is not an insult. There isn't a huge amount anyone can help you with what you posted but like has been mentioned about, you are entitled to be treated in a respectful way throughout the assessment and so I would complain about the Nurse if you feel so was rude.

Re read some of the posts. They are rude and one called me a malingerer. I find them insulting. On most threads I read on here there is always someone having a dig at someone. A lot of people say the same!
  • I have read through and the only person I can see being rude, I'm afraid is you. May be differing of opinions but I cant, sorry.

I hope you get some resolution and good luck getting over withdrawal it is a horrific thing I have seen a friend go through it

Please don't let this thread deteriorate any further.

The first reply to the OP was somewhat badly worded (IMO) and suggested that the OP was claiming something he was not entitled to. Londonsu said I wouldn't dream of claiming benefits

This was said without any knowledge of the OP's illnesses and background and was, again, in my opinion, judgemental.

This didn't start the thread off in a very helpful way - no advice was given, just a judgement.

Unfortunately the number of people thanking this post just compounded the 'judgement'.

The OP then responded in a totally unacceptable way and so it continued.

We do not want threads like this on a forum that is meant to give help and support. Equally we do not want such awful language as the OP gave.

The OP has been told that he can complain about the assessor's language and comments so this thread can now end. PLEASE!

Since reading this last night theres been a few posts deleted.

OP its best NOT to retaliate and certainly not best to retaliate with swearing. I cannot understand how the MSE Forum Team has not PPR you but again it is a great example of how the forum team are not consistent with enforcing the rules and hence why people get away with such hate towards benefit claimants on this board in particular.

OP you've been judged from the start in this thread and this is not acceptable from seasoned members.

Tip: If you complain so much at tribunal about your treatment by the HCP from Atos, the panel will order another assessment with another provider, so my tip here is if you don't want to go through another assessment, instead of looking upon the report as a lie and ficticious just contradict it at Mandatory reconsideration with factual evidence, OR simply ask DWP for another assessment with another HCP with Capita, and start over with that report rather than the Atos one.

@ AB1982: Its against the forum rules to intentionally derail a thread, you've offered nothing of help and winding up the OP is not helping them or others who are reading this thread for gaining advise so please PIPE DOWN.

I am 61 and work full time I have a lazy bladder and leak quite a bit, I wouldn't dream of claiming benefits because of it I wear Tena Lady pads they work for me, I am sure they have both male and female versions

She may have been a bit 'sharp' about the codeine but again why would the codeine addiction stop you working and have you actually been diagnosed with depression?

Hang on now. OP was asking for an opinion of his/her ESA assessment not your opinion of whether his/her health problems should/should not allow him/her to work in your opinion. This is not your business but just typical of this forum.

You were not asking for help you were complaining things were not going your way and if you read my post you would have read that I work so its not me sitting on my backside all day.

At least 2 of the things you mention can be sorted the addiction and the leaking and are not an excuse not to work, and its entirely possible that if your depression is caused by the aforementioned that once they are sorted your depression may lift but that's not what you want to hear is it

And you're a doctor are you? OP may have gone about things a bit differently but it amazes me that this forum is full of people who just want to criticise others.
