Wizzbang... thanks for the post. Was sort of wondering whether there's any good site or two that Poohbear (and yes, me as well!) could join and maybe make 50 quid a month from.
I'm already at Swagbucks but only have a basic mobile so can't run their apps. Is it true you can earn about 25 quid a month though, if you do run them daily?
I'll have another look at the guides, but am not really interested in doing loads of surveys a day (I do some per week, across a few sites) and I have to leave out sites that require a decent mobile or smartphone.
And by the way, Mrs P... if you've got a mobile and have plenty of free minutes every month, don't forget to keep calling those insurance people every time you sell more stuff on eBay0 -

I easily make £25 a month on SB, but yes I run the apps. Not usually to max capacity because they're so glitchy on an iPhone.
The thing about earning money from home is that you need to take the opportunities you have. By ruling out surveys you are ruling out a large and regular part of your capacity to earn. I understand they are boring and repetitive, but the extra cash you can earn soon makes you forget about that.Minimalist

Sorry culpepper and Zephyr, I should maybe have said in my first post that one of the reasons, among many, that I am unable to do my normal job (senior secondary school teacher) is that my memory is shot
So I read your posts then immediately forgot. So here is the research page I found. I feel like I should get a badge for this

I would love to do the £2000 one and then my problems would be over for now, but my physical state means it is not possible.
I have applied for a sleep study in Newcastle but haven't heard back yet. In fact haven't heard back from any I found. I will see if I can find them again. I cleared my history and cookies as something wasn't working and now it is much more difficult to find things I looked at a few days ago.
3bay has been rubbish this week. I had an offer of £25 for a ship in a bottle which was wanted by someone in USA. I had put free postage on it so have had to take it down. I never intended free postage to USA.
The only thing to sell has a current bid of 99p and ends later today.
I am going to add more today,
Mr P is on an ill health retirement pension which is over the amount he can receive and get ESA. He has also injured his shoulder quite badly and is unable to do anything physical ATM. He was doing labouring for a builder friend but can't now. He has some scans and stuff coming up..... We have both looked for paid work that he can do but nothing locally and he can't drive far.
We are quite a sick family atm, but hopefully not permanently...those that live here that is.
I will tot up my pennies and post on here later.
£200 from savings account I had forgotten
£79 from ScotPower
£16 Quidc
£9 Nectar
£46 saved on home insurance over two months,
£300:j
Lots of odd little bits on surveys and sign ups started yesterday. I will add when I receive them
ETA Just cancelled my gym membership of £20 a month. I haven't been for months and then I go and do a gentle walk on treadmill for about five minutes. I can do that around the house for free. Every saving I make I will add to my signature and pay into credit union. It hasn't all been paid in yet as it is only open on Thursdays for an hour and I forgot last week.

I will get into trouble if I repeat info here re: Swagbucks, so please read the Swagbucks thread. You will find answers to most of your questions in the first few posts. If not, that is the place to ask your questions.Minimalist

pooh bear- eBay is tricky these days. You have to go into your settings (which I never find straightforward) and exclude postage Worldwide. I only post to UK because after they introduced the global shipping programme, all I ever had were non-paying bidders with 0 feedback. I don't know how they were allowed to bid, as I have my settings really, really tight. Anyway, I still have enough trouble with idiot UK eBayers- mostly because they can't read! LOLMinimalist
