I would like to say a huge thank you to all you lovely people on here who have helped me find lost cash, sell unwanted items, raise money in numerous ways to make it possible for us to attend our son's wedding, and also visit our other son and his wife. I really was quite desperate the day I first started this thread. And virtually all the money has so far come from money we already had eg Scottish power (who incidentally have still not paid up) , small investments from decades ago, selling things we have in the house.

Now time to knuckle down and sell, sell, sell......I have clothes that no longer fit me ready to be pressed and photographed. I have a few things on a related fbook page, as I have some clothes with well know labels to sell.

I wrote a post yesterday which I have just realised is not here. Still having internet problems.....
What I said was that I have paid the £140 fee for the dog to be in kennels for 9 nights. The rest of the time we are away either DD will be at home and can have him at her house and can walk him or DS2 will be here. DB said he wouldn't be able to look after the dog as he might not be here. I looked into house and pet sitters but realised that we need to let cottage cleaners access to the house and wasn't sure how the dog would react to strangers coming in so decided against it.

Yesterday I received a £10 voucher code from GfK which I have converted to an Amazon credit as we buy essentials from there.

And I also received a £1 credit from them a few days ago. The other survey sites are really difficult to achieve their minimum payout quickly :(
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

This is true. But if you persevere, and convert everything you can to Amazon vouchers it makes Xmas a lot easier.

Lovely news about your progress - well done !

With the surveys look at the threads for those sites you've joined up for. Youll find suggestions on the swagbucks, instagc and inbox pounds ones. Some are easier than others. Swagbucks is very easy, I get money (not AGC) very regularly from there but you do need to get the hang of it as with all of them. PA you have to remember to check etc. And the thing to remember is, some months you'll cash out on one and some months it'll be another, some you might only cash out 3 or 4 times a year but it's all money you haven't had before.
    Make £520 a year in 2020 so far (£0 cash £0 AGC)

    (2019,£481.69) (2018, no idea!) ( 2017 £673.20) (2016 £800.97) (2015 £791.42/$312)

    Penny challenge: 21/366 (66.70/671.61)
    NSD 7/150

I am persevering. And today was able to claim £6.40 from Prolific Academic.

I am busy today but will sit down and go through all the threads and find easier ways to earn. Swagbucks has been my poorest earner along with inboxpounds. Nowhere near to pay out on either. Was thinking maybe they just don't need people like me to answer surveys.

There's a lot more to Swagbucks than surveys, and it's easy to reach the minimum £5 payout every month or so, even without doing surveys.
A fiver is 999 SB for PayPal or 849 for Amazon, so even if you want PayPal you only need about 33 SB a day, and that's perfectly doable just from the other stuff they have.
I'd recommend starting with the ncraves (videos) here:
    http://www.swagbucks.com/ncrave

There are more around in the first half of the day and some of them you can watch several times. The ones called "Fitness" and "Samsung Celebrates" are particularly good at the moment.
I suppose it depends how much time you've got. It won't be the fastest fiver you've ever earned, but at the moment you can easily get 20 SB per day from those.

Then there's the free games for another 10 a day.
    http://www.swagbucks.com/games

I play Swagasaurus Run, which credits 2 SB every 2nd go (up to a maximum of 10 SB) as long as there's a gap of about 30 seconds between starting one go and the next.

Then if you go to the homepage and scroll down a bit you'll see the (new) To Do list, where you can pick up at least another 5 SB, and bingo, you've reached your target!

Anyway, I'd better not turn this into a Swagbucks thread, because there's one here:
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5439334

And besides reading the opening guide, it's good to follow that thread daily because it's very active and people post useful stuff there. Swagbucks regularly have promos and various things on and you can be sure they'll all get posted in that topic.

Yes as Dave says, there's much more to swagbucks than surveys, I rarely do them but can get £25 in a month and inbox is a slow earner - I do the searches and the emails and that's about it.

Yes, the best way to earn at Swagbucks is by running apps, although of course it depends whether you've got a suitable device. If you have, then as Sugarplum says, it's possible to earn more like £25 a month.
