Ah, thank you beanie, I read up about both last night. It appears I can rent a room a room on airbnb without paying tax too. We are more likely to get takers as we are in tourism area. We can but try. I am sure that if we can't do it someone will be along on here to tell me.
We do have an accountant for the cottage. I will maybe ask him.

You could get at least 50 quid minimum & if you are in a tourist area more I would think..

Today's update. We received cheque from phone co-op for £199. I can't remember if I counted it when i first found out about it. I need to have a read through the posts. I have lots of things ready to list online again. It is my plan for tomorrow.

My area has not only a Freecycle group, but a Cheapcycle one, where you can sell stuff locally & people come and pick it up. Do you have anything like that where you are ? Also Streetlife (very local group), mainly for local information (like plumbers, cleaners & lost cats !), so could use to find out where/when car boot sales are on.0

I will definitely look for cheapcycle and Streetlife. Because we are 22 miles from the nearest town we are going to have to travel for the next car boot sale. I listed a few things on eBay yesterday and will post some others on a Facebook selling page.
