If you dropped a day, how easy would it be to pick it up again if needs be?

It would be easy because they are always advertising for staff and offering increased hours.
As someone who has explored the 4 day scenario for the last 100 years and bored everyone in the process. I think you should go for it. :)

:rotfl: I currently do four days but used to do three in my previous job and i think it was ideal as well as giving me time to do other paid work.

I would need to do some serious figures before I jump.

Oh, I see. You are already working 4 days a week... Ultimately I am aiming for 3 days a week too but not until this house is sorted out.

Do the sums Parsniphead. See if you can make it a reality. This isn't a dress rehearsal :)

I used to love my three days but I used to get paid more.

Another job delivered today and a few more pounds made.:D Another job picked up so more pennies due. I will also be delivering another one when I pick DS up from school so more pennies will be picked up.:j Not a bad day off.:D

Another shock though at the state of their house. It was immaculate, not a thing out of place. Too tidy for me but it has spurred me on to start on mine again. I have made another dent since I returned.:D Lots more to go though.

I will be breaking up on Friday for a week then once I return I only have three weeks before finishing for the summer. I really need to get a lot of this stuff done before then so I can use my time wisely once I'm off. I have three weeks alone before DS breaks up.

Not much time and lots to do. It's focussed the mind.

You are doing great with the private work.

I like that you get to spy on so many other peoples homes. A perk of the job surely?

You are sounding very focused at the moment. Long may it continue :)

A day of decluttering and finally the top of my wardrobe and the stairs are clear at the same time. :j My god, the dust on top of the wardrobe. Shocker.

I'm off this week and I need to get some quotes for the bay roof as it was really coming in last night when it was pouring down.

Its definitely going to be a week of clearing, cleaning and sorting the garden. Hopefully by the end of the week I will see a difference.

What a noisy night and still it rumbles on. I like a good thunder storm but this is ridiculous. :rotfl:

It was so nice to look up from bed this morning and see a nice, clear wardrobe top.:D, and coming down the stairs was a treat.

I also started sorting through DS's bedroom last night and as the weather is not up to gardening today I will carry on later.

Blimey that was a huge bang. I nearly shot out of my slippers.:rotfl:

Anyway, the decluttering goes on. I'm at the point where I he easy stuff is done and every decision is a difficult one. Its made me determined to never get to this point again.

Yesterday I got a bargain. We have a charity warehouse open on saturdays only. I got two meters of gorgeous fabric for £2 and a pair of long curtains for a fiver. I'm planning to make some roman blinds for the bathroom with either one or another. I just need to make my mind up which one you're. I will definitely be visiting again.

Anyway I must get on. I have to pop to the shops in a while then a day at home cosied up.

Have a good day and keep dry.

  • I'm laughing at the idea of you shooting out of your slippers :rotfl:. We had a big thunderstorm in the middle of the night .

Well done on the decluttering and what a bargain on the fabric.

Yes, there were some great bangs in the night but that one was huge. The storms and the rain have finally stopped. It's now sunny and very warm.

I have decided if it stays nice to go and get more veg plants. The stuff I have in is doing fab.
