    British G@s finally coming on Wednesday to do my annual service after I've put it off for weeks due to the state of the house. Anyway this morning panic ensued about the state of the house. So follows a big of a brag..........

    I have

    Cleared and cleaned three bedrooms
    Cleared and vacuumed the stairs
    Completed cleared the cellar steps
    Thrown out loads of stuff
    Earmarked tons of stuff in the cellar to go to the tip later this week
    Cleared some stuff from the kitchen

    This was all meant to be done over the next two days so I'm pleased with myself. It means the rest of today and tomorrow can be used for more cleaning, clearing and decluttering. Perhaps I may even make it to the tip.

    I will give the kitchen and bathroom a good deep clean after collecting DS from school.

    It feels so good to be getting somewhere.

    I'm hoping you haven't worn yourself out. Is the fact that you could get through this much an indication that the previous work you've done is making it easier to do the next phase?

    Load up the car and head to the tip tomorrow. You know you'll feel SO much better once it's all out of the house!

    I took loads to the tip and have continued clearing out, although not at the same pace as DS is off school. I'm frustrated though as it doesn't matter how much stuff I get rid of I still seem to have the same amount or more. It's obviously a magic clutter attracting house.

    I may be killing this thread off soon. I think it's come to a natural end and I would like a fresh start. A complete new beginning which relates to life now.
