I have just been reading supersavers new thread. It has reminded me I still have some roman blinds to make. I just need to get the bits and get them made.

I have also set myself a new challenge of budgeting £20 per month to spend on the house. I know its a small amount but it could buy some paint, fabric or whatever. I just need to start making a difference and need some ideas.

That said I have just spent some of this months on some c0mmand strips to hang some framed ballet posters which have been waiting to go up since I moved here in 2002. ;) I don't like to rush things ;). They were up when I lived with parents but never made it up in this house. That will be my task for the afternoon and continuing with decluttering.

Right I must get off MSE or I will get nothing done.

You are doing great Parsniphead. Powering ahead.

You have reminded me of all the art and posters I have never framed. It would be nice to be able to see them. I might set a target to get a picture framed a month.

I truly believe that small inexpensive tweaks can make a huge difference to the look and feel of a home. I will go off and think about tweaks I can do and then do them!

    Enjoy your evening :)

    Thanks DIA and abba.

Well what a dull and dreary day. I'm feeling so unmotivated it's unbelievable. I've managed to go and get DS's birthday presents at least.

Must do something with DS but what?

I will come back when the mood has improved.

    Too true DIA.

I spent three hours at soft play this afternoon.:eek::eek: It was so noisy, I thought I was going mad. A bunch of the children decided to just scream for about an hour. I couldnt take much more and even DS was happy to leave in the end.

Utter hell. (Where's the crying smilie).

Apart from that I've done nothing. Its so cold and my joints are too painful too be bothered. I hope my mojo returns tomorrow.

Right time to get DS to bed.

    Have a good night. X

Just wanted to pop on and say I've enjoyed reading and really admiring your motivation!

Soft play is literally hell on earth even on a good day.....mine is a bit too big for it now, but I can count the times I took him on one hand...he hated it too!

To be honest I was fe up with the weather and the fact my bin was full so the stuff which couldn't be donated or recycled was piling up. Bin day tomorrow so hopefully I will get a load done again when its empty.

Thank you Gemsy81. We don't go often but mine does enjoy it. I usually take a pen and notebook and do some planning but yesterday was too noisy to focus. He has his birthday party there next Saturday too.:eek::eek: Help.

Its been a disjointed day today. I took DS to a local animal place and he had a complete meltdownwhen we pulled up as he thought he was going to the zoo. He wanted to go in the castle. So we drove off again when it was safe and he had calmed down.

Later I realised my phone wasn't charging so I had to go to the shop to sort it. There is a problem with my phone and it has to go off. I've only had it 10 months and its been nothing but trouble to be honest. I hate it and wish I could get rid of it. Roll on the end of the contract.

Nothing else done really. Its payday so I'm going to pay my monthly bills later. A bit more chipped off the debt. :T I will update my signature in due course.

The washing is done and dried. Hopefully we don't get the storms again later but if it does I have no issues with washing.:j

Anyway have a good evening. X
