Car insurance sorted. £317 gone from my account. Grrrrrr.

The sun has just vanished and now its back to thunder/ lightening and massive blobs of rain. Its a good thing I had just finished planting my newly acquired veg. I now have in...

    Peas
    Rhubarb
    Courgette
    Butternut squash
    Cabbage
    Lettuce
    Cucumber
    Tomatoes
    Kale
    Dwarf French beans

    I need to get some.....

    Carrots
    Beetroot
    Strawberries

I can't do onions as they always go curly.:o

I still have loads of room for more but I need to finish clearing the area. Oh blimey I forgot to put the leeks in. That will have to be done tomorrow.

If its nice this week I want to start sorting the sheds out as I want to convert one into a chicken coop. I keep waiting for the right time but the right time never comes so I'm going to get it done asap.

Tomorrow I need to dig in the compost from the compost bin and rescue the other one from under the conifer cuttings to get it into use again. The stuff in it should have composted by now.:D

I also have some sewing to finish and deliver.

It now I need to scrub the mud off me and then start researching plans for the coop. Oh and I hate to mention it but I want to start planning for chr1$tm@$. It cannot be chaotic again this year.

Have a fab rest of the day. X

Perhaps a few pots of beans or a hanging basket of strawberries. I'm lucky for space. It's only a terraced house garden but very long.

    Hello all

It's been a funny old day. I have thrown out, recycled and donated a huge pile of stuff and I'm still going. I've either lost the plot or I'm finally growing up and getting it together. I have been posting on the 'no clutter to be seen 2018' thread and its given me a real kick in the pants. Its scary that even though so much has gone there is still loads to do, but I'm making real progress at last, not just faffing around.:j:j:j

Another alteration has been delivered and a few £'s made.:D

Tomorrow i need to contact someone about my bay roof. I cannot put it off any longer.

I will not let my son grow up or the rest of us live in a hovel any longer.

Now if only I could get on top of the weight/ fitness thing everything would be hunkydory.

Off to vacuum upstairs and continue throwing out.

    Have a fab night. Xxx

Thank you Hairyhand. I'm really trying to keep the momentum going.

I don't have any fixed plans for today. One thing I do want to do is continue with the decluttering. My bedroom is looking almost normal now :o apart from the walk in cupboard which is full to the brim. I'm hopefully going to tackle this when DS is either in bed or at school. Its not something I can do with him sticking his nose in.

The stairs are clear and the rectangular basket is working a treat. :j

The bathroom is a diy job really. There isn't much clutter and would take minutes to do.

The main areas which need dealing with are.....

The front/sewing room -:eek::eek:. This is going to take a while and I may start on it today.

The kitchen needs a good sort out.

The cellar is :eek::eek: but I started on it yesterday. This is going to take a lot of work. I do have lots of stuff which I did intend to car boot but to be honest I have been saying this for years, many years, and its still not done. I may just bite the bullet and donate it all.

DS's bedroom.. The birthday bunny is coming soon so this needs a good sort through.

The spare bedroom which is stuffed to the brim. Is is a another huge job but it needs to be done soon.

The sheds. Full of carp which needs to be gone. Definitely a tip run or two.

I'm going to start on the kitchen this morning perhaps and the do something with the little fella later.

Anyway, I must get on or I will sit on here all day.;):) Have a great day. X
