The plants sound lovely. I am working today but I can see the quality of light through the window and it is lovely. When I finish today I will soak up the rays

    Enjoy :)

I hope you managed to get some sun DIA. Even I came in with a slightly red arm and I don't tan.

I'm stuck inside at the moment waiting for a parcel. I want to be outside planting leeks. I may whizz out the front and week the small front garden and along the wall on the pavement. Rock n roll eh.:rotfl: Hopefully it will come early and I can do something productive.

I have a small mountain of ashing to put away. This is my real Achilles heel, its such a boring job to do but I will do it. I also need to clear the sewing room and DS has almost trashed it with Orbeez. Vile things.

At least while I'm waiting in I can make some headway in the house.

I have also worked out my total consumer debt figure today. I have listed it below under my mini challenge. It was a real :eek::eek: moment but nothing I can't sort out. Roll on payday again (its ages away :rotfl:) just so I can pay off a bit more.

Enjoy the sun if you have it. Have a fab day. Off to hang out the washing. X

Hope you get some sun soon abba. It's nice to be able to dry washing though. I thought I would never get it outside again.

I did yes DIA, it was lovely. I'm trying to get some stuff done today but keep wandering outside.

I've become a little money/debt obsessed again and I need to keep it under control. But since I've worked out the debt figure again I keep going back to something I was pondering on a year or so ago.

Although large, my consumer debt figure is not astronomical. Previously I wandered if I had to, could I get rid of it in a short set period of time. You know selling stuff, working extra, cutting costs to the bone.Or do you think its just a stupid idea. I'm really focussed at the moment and feel now could be the right time for the big push, especially as I finish for the summer on 20th June. It would be nice to go back to work on 20th August consumer debt free. Thats 15 weeks away. It would be a heck of a challenge but..........

I'm going to continue with my mini challenge whatever with this perhaps as a background challenge.

I want this debt gone so, so badly. The difference it would mean to life would be amazing. Is it too much pressure or there is no harm in having a going. It's a challenge which has come back to my mind time and time again. I suppose it would also help with the decluttering if i sort stuff to sell.

Also if it was gone I could drop a day and make more money with self employed stuff.

Oh why do I do this to myself.

A very confused (and impatient) parsnip.

It sounds as if it would make a huge difference to you to just get this gone. And although it would be tough, it would only be for a short time. How about spending some time working out a plan. What can you do between now and June 20th? And then what would you do during the 2 month break?

I have seen you recently make big changes such as totalling your debt and making it public and paying off some debts completely. I think you can do this and if you fall short you would have taken a sizeable chunk of the debt off and you can finish up a bit later. I planned to be debt free at the end of December. I really went for it. In the end my DF date was a few months later but if I had not aimed for December it would have been much later than March...

We are all better in the summer so I say go for it Parsniphead.

I am like you wanting to drop a day so I can do more creative/s/e work.

    Go for it parsniphead :)

    Thanks greenbee and DIA.

You are both right and whatever happens I would be much closer to being debt free than plodding along. After being in debt since I was 19 and trying to sort it for the past 15 gears I think now is the time for the big push.

I need to come out of my comfort zone once and for all. Saying that I have a days teaching tomorrow. It's the first I have done since July 16 and I feel very apprehensive. Hopefully it will lead to a better and more lucrative role.
