    Hi Kim, all,

I am so glad you are feeling better, hun. Cured by curry, eh?

Glad you like that, been keeping that one in for a while.

Yes, Happy Birthday, DD; there's still an hour of it left, though I'm sure she's asleep by now.

I have given so many Bday parties over the years I think I could do it in my sleep. :D I'm sure you are good at it too.

I forgot about the gator! You might need to train him/her to handle XBF encounters for you. A little gator snapping might to him a world of good...and would be fun to watch.

    Hey, Mila,

And if he could be trained to snap in a specific area, he might put an end to the dynasty he has founded but seems to feel no need to support... was that too harsh?

How was your 4th July week end, Mila? Is the real celebration tomorrow? I think it's a public holiday, is it not?

    So, not too harsh, then?

I am so glad, Kim! How are you feeling, now? I believe, if you can make someone laugh, you give them energy whereas, if you !!!! them off, you drain their energy.

... by the dawn's early light...

No not too harsh at all! In fact it's an image I will use to cheer me up whoever I see his punchable smug face!!
Had a lovely day with the 3 littles today just running errands and playing- super busy day tomorrow though, morning appointments, painting boys bedrooms and exchanging school uniform for correct sizes and my skinny boy needs a size below even in the skinny fit school trousers.
I went to Clarks show shop today as my boy (4) hot shoes in there 8 weeks ish ago and all the Velcro has unstitched from the strap. I asked to exchange and they said they would re- measure him and offer me 50% off my next pair- I explained the law on faulty goods ( thanks MSE Martin) and they then no quibble exchanged for another pair.
Some times it really pays to be MSE smart.
Chuffed with myself for not being done over I trotted to boots for a free lunch on my advantage card points and got his back home. Lol
I'm in bed as I type this so shattered but feeling so much better. I've got scan again on Friday and I'm looking so forward to seeing how much he has grown and developed.
I have a name shortlist too and actually packed my hospital bag yesterday!! Check me out!!

Check you out, indeed, lady! I just don't know how you do it all, Kim. There is definitely a book in there, somewhere, imho.

Given the appalling state this country is in, and I am not kidding, now, do you think, once number 8 is here and settled, that you might run for Prime Minister? They say, if you want something doing, ask a busy person. I would trust you a million times more than anything of the sorry !!!wipes on offer at the moment.

You do realise there was a compliment in there, don't you, and that I am not actually comparing you to pillockticians? (This is m' word, now, what I invented today, yay!)

    It's past Smodlet's bedtime.

Excellent time was had by all over the 4th weekend and thanks for the shout out...by the dawn's early light. :) :rotfl:

I think with the gator image in mind you will now be the one looking smug Kim! :D:D:D

Very impressed with your shoe negotiations! Knowledge is power in many cases. You are very on top of things!

The news of the day in our paper said that over 100 floats were in the 4th of July parade but 2/3's were redirected from the parade route by our police department. :rotfl::rotfl:
So the people lined up to see the parade saw only a fraction and the 2/3's were viewed by ???
People mowing their lawns? Buying groceries? Getting gas for their cars? :rotfl:
:j Hey look there's a parade going down our street! :rotfl:

    Only in New Mexico!
