Less than two hours to go! :j0

I've managed to get spag Bol and broccoli down their necks for lunch and now they are happily watching Netflix on the Lappy until respective parents arrive :-). It's okay it was my dd9 birthday thing so I was happy to host it. Plus having a few mates to stay over has been far less stress and financial cost than a meal out or party. We were going to have a bbq's but the weather is horrid which I'm sort of glad of :coffee: all the way for me today and I'll catch up with an early night tonight :-)Just a single mum, working full time, bit of a nutcase, but mostly sensible, wanting to be Mortgage free by 2035 or less!0

I am so sorry, Kim, the birthdays seem to be coming thick and fast, at the moment.
Happy birthday, DD9! :bdaycake::dance::grouphug::hello::dance:0 -
I'm never hosting a sleepover again :eek::eek:
Oh mom! Been there!! One year I went to sleep about 2am and had 12 yr old girls sneak out and toilet paper the neighborhood! :eek: The daughter (whose birthday it was) just had her 20th class reunion and she said they were all talking about that night. I'm glad they enjoyed it because I did not find it amusing at all!
I'm glad little man is doing well in there. It's getting closer. Do you usually go to term?Overprepare, then go with the flow.

Hi
Just read your thread I've got half the number of chaps than you but they are virtually independant now.
Sleepovers, why are they called that? I used to call them sleepless overs!
Good luck with number 8 and your debt free journey.

I am so tired and annoyed it's now time for bed! I've screamed at the kids this evening for just ignoring me and blatantly being spiteful and nasty to each other! They have had dinner and are going to bed at 6!
I will be shortly following them as I'm so tired. Tomorrow morning we will start over with a clean slate and see how it goes.
Hotdogs for lunch tomorrow and sarnies for dinner with peanut butter, gonna nip to the local Tesco for cereal as that's the only thing we really need besides milk this week and I'm sure other than that we just need yoghurt but will make a list tonight. I literally have £11 to my name today :cool:
I'm going to walk the kids to school this week, it's a long old way but they have legs as do I and it will do them good to get the exercise.
I'm gonna have a shower and freshen up- dry my hair and then get into bed with a nice cup of tea and my laptop!
Seriously 1 late night and I feel like I've had a weekend out on the ale!!
I'm such a granny!! All I want is a brew and a packet of hobnobs!! LolJust a single mum, working full time, bit of a nutcase, but mostly sensible, wanting to be Mortgage free by 2035 or less!0 -
I expect they are over-excited, what with the "sleep"over. I hope you have a goodly supply of hobnobs... other crumbly biscuits are available.
Sleep well. Try not to feed those noddy, li'l young 'uns to the gator, now, Kimmie-May, he laahks hawbnawbs much better, especially with gravy and gree-iyts.

Hi Kim
Have just read through your diary...it is inspirational. I too am a mum of 8 and battling debts in part caused by a husband who chooses not to contribute to the household bills. Your diary has encouraged me...thank you.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.
