My thoughts exactly.
Would rather take a bit less and have no hastle.
Though I do suspect that certain parts of the country are worse than others.
London has loads of tyre kickers.0 -

Today I've had three offers of £200 from people who live miles away and want me to deliver. Yeh right!
And an offer of £250 from someone else if I get a new MOT on it.0 -
Where is it advertised and what actually is it?0

Never ceases to amaze me what peoples expectations are. I mean its £700. Its a mercedes, its got AC, cruise control, elec everything its also only got 75K genuine miles on it. But yet its 15 years old so its not in showroom condition!
I upset some woman last week who said she wanted something which "looked nice" and didnt want any scratches on her car but she "fancied a mercedes". Her last one (which was a fiesta) was in better condition than my merc apparently.
I suggested she needed to lower her expectations or increase her budget.
Might see if theres any ferraris on gumtree tonight for £1000. Must be in mint condition though.0 -

I would imagine gumtree might your problem. Are most of the timewasters from there?
Is the MoT short? That might be the other problem.
Otherwise sounds a 'bargin'; I would happily come and kick the tyres
I was giving a car seat away on freecycle once for free; had about three people arange to come and pick it up and then not bother to turn up or let me know after I had waited in!0 -

Looks OK for £700 to me, but the short MOT would put me off.0 -
