Thank you for the encouragement to Get It Done. I have been applying that at work, writing tasks on mini post-its that I can recycle when I have done the task. Some days, the whole page is full! But it does give me a sense of accomplishment when the sea of pale yellow notes allows a glimpse of the paper beneath, where I can read my lesson notes. It also makes tasks easy to 'carry forwards' and ensures they don't get forgotten.

    nsd 18 today :D.

Morning all, yesterday was not a SFD as went to an exercise class. Think it's going to be a regular thing so will put money aside at the start of the month.

Have started with a cold and sore throat so not feeling great but have do much to do so need to just ignore being ill.

The rain is forecast again here today. It's great for the plants but I'd love to walk the dogs without some rain one evening this summer!

    Morning,

Today will for sure be a NSD as I had to have an emergency trip to the SM yesterday as heart burn was defeating me. Although I'm I right in saying that milk has the potential to solve heart burn?

Looking forward to getting my teeth into the July challenge too.

    Morning turtles.:j

Quick update from me. SFD yesterday takes me up to 13/20

Today will be a spendy day as have to take gs to summer fayre after school, hopefully can recover money off daughter at some point. Moved it inside now due to the weather. Shame as usually good bouncy castles/slides for them.

No other news. Like the new challenge Bob like you want to be debt free even though one friend keeps telling me live for today and spend. I have more sense than that and back on my frugal ways after my blip :)

Mothernerd thanks for the encouragement will get a few jobs done tonight, even though so tired. Hamstring killing me all night, think weeding the patio standing as unable to kneel last night probably overstretched it. Put ice gel stuff on it and dosed up with pain killers today.

    Hello,

yesterday was a SFD and we got some stuff done. Got the area for the future playground weeded more, levelled and a weed membrane put down provisionally just to start killing the remaining weeds. Our pal came round and we got our new front door ordered, although that will take a few weeks and then we still need to paint it etc. Also finished painting the carport. Plus OH started another batch of beer (wedding present for friend is 50 bottle and a keg of home-brew).

So last minute motivation seems to kick in. Today it will rain so I'll start fixing the grouting/seal in the bathroom.

Final stretch, two days to go :T

Yesterday and today were nsd as well as Sunday which I think takes me to around 18 although I'm not too sure. I think people on this site need to give themselves a big pat on the back, u r all a lot more aware of money and where u stand then people in RL I know. U keep me motivated thru the month.

So Sunday was a NSD but yesterday I spent, I did a charity walk and sponsored my group plus we all had a meal in the pub afterwards.

Today has been a NSD although I have a list of things to buy but just can't be bothered - I am having a !!!!!! off day today and that's not good for anyone!!

    So up to 14 NSD's.

Better pop over to July's challenge and have a peek.

Thing is as well most of the time people mean spend money that isnt theirs ie on Mr Plastic. Wheres the fun in putting a meal or cinema trip on credit? I think that is why many on here say they owe 20k but have nothing to show for it.
