The EU: IN or OUT?

it's plain to see its in his or hers interest( do not know this member sex but get an idea could be an EU citizen or Asian)Not sure of the sex of this character or ethnicity but first thought Oriental because of the uptightness but obviously a too serious character.
Why do you feel the need to try to pigeonhole, what relevance does someone's ethnicity or gender have to anonymous posts on a web forum?0 -
The word change was often used as a positive in the referendum debate. But substitute change for uncertainty ( for they are one and the same unless you know pretty clearly what that change will look like) and it might seem as much of a negative as a positive. It wasn't particularly broke, the economy was doing pretty well.0

NF
Around the time of the first refendum and for some time afterwards, NF referred to an extreme right wing organisation called the National Front.
Still - if the cap fits.....
Incidentally, for those saying there will be no second referendum, we just had it.0 -

On the other hand, it seems unlikely that a racist would vote to remain - and both blutto's and Dird's posts seem racist to me.
I read Dird's post 1158 and it did not seem racist to me. It made criticisms of immigrants, but that is not racist per se. Could you clarify your post with evidence? Not saying you're wrong, but I'd like some explanation for making such strong remarks.0 -
A very uptight individual purely concerned totally and only about his or her gains in life! Not sure of the sex of this character or ethnicity but first thought Oriental because of the uptightness but obviously a too serious character.
People are too complex to characterise in such simple terms. Incidentally, Chinese people I've known have been some of the friendliest and least uptight people I've met.0 -

There was a post generalising Muslims about their ways of marriage, specifically interbreeding. I think that it has now gone.
It seems that a clean up operation by the powers that be has occurred so time to move on.0 -
I've read dozens if not hundreds of comments on here on FB (some by my friends) and other websites denigrating the English, Northerners etc as thick, little englanders etc etc.
Strange that we don't see anyone up in arms about this?
All this debate has shown me is that that self appointed liberals who jump to accuse others of racism or preach tolerance, are themselves bigots and even less tolerant.
That:
- Democracy is praiseworthy as long as they get to choose the voters
- Anything they disagree with is a lie
- Any person they disagree with is a racist
- Their measure of intelligence is how much you agree with them0 -

It's a shame you can't quote it. It is a known fact that Brits of Pakistani ancestry tend to marry cousins, such that they have a huge problem with genetic diseases. Now this might sound racist to you, but it is in itself not a racist statement. The same is true of many Jewish groups, which is why some do genetic testing to select out unsuitable partners. And common knowledge says Norfolk is similar.Of course it is possible to use such a fact in a way that suggests the poster is a racist, but we won't know now.

Edit: To be clear, I think it was an attempt at humour, but was in very bad taste.0 -

Islam is also not a race, just a bunch of people believing a work of fiction. If it were then 99% of muslims are racist based on the fact 1 of the girls looked at me with disgust at the thought of marrying a Shia because "they're not muslims". Whether these negative traits (incest & FGM) are a result of Islam or other parts of Pakistani society is the question; but a question not for this threadMortgage (Nov 15): £79,950 | Mortgage (May 19): £71,754 | Mortgage (Sep 22): £0
