@Dancer90, congrats, just use it wisely to build yourself a good credit history. I think it is now safe for me too to say that my Barclaycard is now fully opened. two of my BT had gone through and received by the other card provider only vanquis still showing as pending.

    Best of luck

A4445 ok that's great thanks for your help :) and thank you @ moshoodo1 and congrats to you on your Barclay card. I do plan to use it very wisely I am very sensible with money so I don't think I will mess this up!! As long as I pay in full every month I should avoid the interest then I will be fine. I've heard some mixed reviews about vanquis have either of you had any problems with them?

I've only had the card since March but not had an issues with them, their interest rate is shocking but as I always pay the bill in full it doesn't matter, I'm just using them to build up credit history they won't get a penny interest out of me! :rotfl::rotfl:

Oh yeah I totally agree mines is 34 with Barclays and 49 I think with them  So shocking. I'm also just using them to build my credit rating so I can hopefully buy myself a nice big house in a couple of years :D so as long as I pay in full I won't be payin a penny in interest either

I think my vanquis card is 39.9% still terrible! I wonder how many of their customers do have balances, it would be crippling payments!

Most certainly would be crippling!! I don't know why anyone would want to have a balance with they sort of interest rates! Do they drop your interest rates down after a year, or do they always stay the same for as long as your with them?

I'm not sure if vanquis do but barclaycard will.

I've only had barclaycard 7months and they are already offering 0% on balance and money transfers.

Thanks, I'm just going to use it in supermarkets and up the high street for every day purchases and hopefully they drop my interest rates incase of emergencies
