Now that I have been looking for about a month or so I have a more clearer picture of what I am after. Can you do a search for me on the below please:

    MAKE - AUDI
    MODEL - A5
    BODY TYPE - COUPE
    FUEL - DIESEL
    TRANS - AUTO
    ENGINE SIZE - 3.0
    YEAR 2009 onwards
    Mileage - 60,000 or below
DERIVATIVE - S Line or SPORT
    AUCTION LOCATION - Anywhere

I see from the auctionview that there are a few coming up for sale at the BCA Measham next monday.

    Thanks again.

Can anyone help in my giving me a rough guide price for a VW PASSAT going through the auctions

    MAKE - VW
    MODEL - PASSAT
    TYPE - SALOON
    FUEL - DIESEL
    TRANS - AUTO/MANUAL
    YEAR 2005 onwards
    Mileage - 80,000 or below

Don't forget that the new Passat is not as reliable as the older ones.

The non common rail ones are less reliable and the autos(dsg) have reliability issues, not forgetting the dmf.

Lewis Day (large courier/private hire co in London) had around 150 07 plate Passats, all silver dsg saloons in HIghline spec with leather.

Almost every single one hadeither an engine go bang, a Dual Mass Flywheel go bang or the DSG box go bang, this issue was so bad that Lewis Day sued VAG over it, I believe the settled out of court.

You can tell the Common Rail engine due to the fact that the plastic cover over the engine the design(four bumps above each cylinder) are front to back on pre CR and on CR they run at 45 degress to the front of the car, it makes more sense when you look under the bonnet.

If you avoid non CR and DSG, put on a solid flywheel conversion and it will do 300k easy.

Sadly another car that sold in high numbers due to image rather than substance.

Seats in anything other than the SEL versions are very uncomfy, the back rest is almost flat, with no curve or support.

Could someone help with this please ?
    Looking to purchase either
    Audi A3 3.2 Quattro 2007/8 5 door. any colour. below 30k miles.
Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart GSR 2010/11. below 15k miles.
Be really interested to know what sort of prices these realise at auction.
Looked at SMA past prices but you have to be a dealer to register and I am not.
Any other sources for past prices ?
    Thanks
    Brian.
