Have just finished filling nearly all the boxes and tubs on the balcony - run out of compost now. Will be trying to persuade DH to take me to the garden shop on Saturday to get some plants and will have to pick up another bag of compost

Ha- I've just been lazy and ordered some from our milkman who will drop it on the doorstep, plus 2 grow bags. Only went on the site to cancel the milk.........almost as dangerous as 'just going to the garden centre to have my free coffee'.............

    Evening all.

    Today I've:
    backed up/updated my phone
sorted out 2 of the drawers on my desk which were driving me mad
went through all the receipts I found and chucked/shredded any that were no longer needed
    filed receipts that I needed
tackled the shredding file, filled a black bag and another half,
Caught up with all the laundry so the machine just needs a good long hot clean cycle tomorrow

The shredding pile still hasn't gone, but its now down to just the stuff which needs scanning then shredding which is going to be this weekends job. I'm only doing that as its bank statements and benefit related paperwork going back to 2007-ish. I know my luck, even though in theory I no longer need them, I'll shred them then something will come up where I need info thats on them!

DD has quickly flung the swiffer mop around to get up the worst of the dust etc from the shredder thats on the floor but it'll need vacuuming and mopping properly tomorrow after work.

Right now though I need to go to bed. Its been a long day

  • Evening,

Nothing done apart from a half hearted attempt at the daily stuff, and putting away an Internet shop.

However I'm now at panic stations as I have invited friends round on Saturday night, and mum and dad are coming to visit next week. The house is a tip, holes in wall where the builder is making a new window and blocking another, rubble all over garden, as well as the existing mess that was there anyway. I'm so sick of it.

Anyway, Welcome back FFP, good to see you CY and I forgot to say yesterday, hugs to Valli x

Evening all, still don't seem to be getting as much done as I would like.
But hubby did do half an hour of ironing tonight to help. I had just started and little miss woke up so he offered to carry on with the ironing while I sorted her out. We cannot get her into bed any earlier than 9. Tonight we gave her a bath, fed her and put her down. After 10 minutes she wakes up crying. Kept trying to get her down until 9 when she just went off. It's so frustrating!!

I did manage to get my work stuff done although it took most of the morning!!! And mum helped me to fill the gaps where the door handles are.

    Tomorrow s list....

    order christening bits from am*zon
    Post card
    Clean filters and detergent dispensers
    HHI x3

    Catch up on HSL list

Already ahead on bathroom list as I did it on Monday.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning all,

I have been awol for a few days as we have been on holiday. Well, I say holiday, it was just like being at home but in the sun. Self catering with two small people in a friend's apartment, so we were on constant watch for the kids not damaging anything/going on the sofa whilst sandy etc etc. I feel more tired than when i went!

Will catch up later, need to see to smalls. Have lovely days all x
