Oh no fbo how annoying! Does sound like there might be a positive though... And many congratulations on your "birthday" we are all very proud of you! X

Oh dear. I seem to have another bike in my office  since this is soon to be our temporary kitchen, I'm not best pleased. But, the small playhouse has gone, and I can order a bike store to go in its place - hopefully I can organise myself in time...

I've also been on to an alarm engineer - he thinks he can repair the wiring to the door contact in the kitchen, also needs doing before kitchen gets started. Next I need someone to remove the radiator and get the pipes in the right place for a new upright one. But I guess I need to choose one first, or they won't know where the pipes need to be. Gah!.

Inlaws have gone to collect kiddies and I'm going out for tea later. Maybe the kiddies will be home in time for DS to have a shower - I wonder if it was because he did pe. I might get him some new socks - I think his have elastane in so maybe cotton will help. Poor, smelly boy :rotfl:

All ironing done, non iron folded, last load of stuff from the laundry basket is still out blowing and will hopefully be dry before the rain arrives.

Doing salad and new pots for tea, just need to put the clothes away and tidy some photo albums I've been sorting through. Papers have all gone in recycling so it's not looking too shabby. Not exactly been on list but I've achieved a fair bit today.
Going to knit and watch to toninght.

Happy 'birthday' FBO. Well done you! Hope you get the license sorted.

Well I got slightly distracted today. Decoupaging took longer than expected and then it was a nice day so I planted some flowers in pots and tidied up the front. I didn't realise how many weeds there were.

    (((Hugs))) to Valli.
Glad you've seen your Dr, mrs-mp. You've been doing more things in a day than I achieve in a week - please slow down a bit.
Many congratulations on your 1-year achievement, FBO :T:T:T Sorry the DVLC couldn't find a better present to send you - hope they will correct that very soon.
Thanks for the Pacer app suggestion, Frizzlef, but I probably don't have the right phone and anyway I'm useless with mobile technology - it's as much as I can do to send text messages :rotfl:

    Today I have
    - done volunteer training all morning
    - worked on the house exit all afternoon - the most boring job, enlivened only by the presence of a film crew trying to get visitors to talk about their reactions to the new gallery
    - got first two quotes for home and contents insurance
    - cooked tea
    - folded 40 church leaflets
    - delivered said leaflets while other people were engrossed in BBC1 (was there something special on tonight?)
    - finished collecting my CA envelopes before the sun set
    - made well-earned :coffee:

Not inclined to do much more for tonight. DH is out at model railway club.

    See you tomorrow.
  • Evening all,

Productive day here, as I swapped my day off, and didn't do any of the things I normally do on my usual day off (ie loooong walk with friends and dogs, reading at school) so I had a proper free day.
    I did :
    Wm x 3
    DW
    Hhi
    S&S
    Walked dog
    Went for blood test
    Went to bank
    Tip run
    Booked party for Dd2
    Mini food shop
    Internet food shop
    Changed our bed
Cleaned up after builder by wiping all kitchen surfaces, hoovering and mopping kitchen and stairs.

    Pleased with myself.

FBO, congratulations on your Milestone, well done, never mind the paperwork issues x

ionahope your OH's leg is OK, cellulitis is very painful.

mrsmp glad you got your BP checked out x
