Well I've spent ALL morning trying to sort out 3 very simple things.. 1. change a hospital appointment.. that took 45 minutes! .. 2. sort the council tax reduction.. 50 minutes!! 3. tax credits.. 40 minutes...

seriously, these were 5 minute conversations! Though the tax credits guy was in Belfast so I could possibly have talked to him all day lol

I'm undecided re the GP change.. I have hated our surgery for years but it is just a total faff changing everyone over.. and what if they are no better?

In the corner there is a receptacle with a black bag inside.. store it in there for future need.

Jobseekers applied for for DS2.. he WILL get some income before I am forced to hoik him out.. I cannot afford to keep him! He hasn't had a bean since January because apparently he isn't eligible for anything as he is at college.. it's effing ridiculous.. no wonder so many young people have no FE qualifications.. how are they supposed to live in order to go to college? He is on a FT course as it is.. there aren't enough hours in the week! (not to mention the total lack of jobs here!.. there aren't even any takeaway/bar jobs it is that dire at the moment!)

Paid stuff finished for the week - woot - 3 days left :D

DS collected and DD ushered off to friends house for birthday tea. DS is colouring in Lamborghini pictures and we are going to get him some new football boots, then he wants to go to F&Bs for tea - he likes the puddings there apparently...

We need to be back to collect DD at 6:30

Meantime I will go sort the kitchen. Again. I'm not sure how I've made so much mess. Tomorrow, after the dentist, I shall be cleaning up this pit!

Called the alarm man, he's going to drop me a text when he's checked his diary so that's another thing to pay for - payday Friday - phew! I also need a plumber. Which reminds me... To avoid kitchen duties I might just browse some radiators lol

So I'm in DS2's room of doom so far I have.......
Cleared the floor, NEWS FLASH, we have carpet!
5 black bags of empty crisp packets, ginger cans and sweetie boxes and various other dribble
3 black bags of clothes that are either too small or he doesn't wear *fling*
1x birthday card 1x mothers day card found and a box of chocolates obviously he couldn't locate them at the time!
1x tub filled with coins that were scattered around the room.
    Bed stripped
Wardrobes and drawers emptied, sorted and refilled

Just the carpet to hoover and a duster needed. Moral of the story ... Tidy up before you go on holiday or mum does it!

Caffeine and nicotine then on to HRH's room  she's more girlie dribble than me!

Piggers that's shocking hope you get something sorted for your DS.

Back from work. Didn't think it had rained that much but the water butt is almost full, so I think that will be cost effective as I'll no longer have to trapse watering cans through the house.
Got to nip ships for bread and a phone top up then I'll decide what I'm doing for tea, thinkI ng quorn and leek pie as I have all the stuff in for that.
Then I'll do the couple of bits of ironing to keep the basket empty, I'm sure stuff breeds if left in there for long.

Afternoon all and welcome back FFP

Hope you're all having as good a day as possible

Have just finished filling nearly all the boxes and tubs on the balcony - run out of compost now. Will be trying to persuade DH to take me to the garden shop on Saturday to get some plants and will have to pick up another bag of compost.

    Have cleaned the bathroom thoroughly
    Did my Spanish lessons
Did a bit of a freezer shuffle. Need to defrost up-right soon.
Just about to de-clutter a cuppa
Next job is make something for dinner whilst waiting for Mr T delivery
*Going to have a long, bubble bath later and wash my hair.*

I'm trying to get on this week, as I want to go shopping t/m afternoon and DH is off Friday and we're going over to help my DSD move into her new house. We aren't doing the actual move but need to help put beds together etc and measure up for some shelving and new window hangings.

Monday - kitchen and dining mess
Empty cutlery drawer.. wash cutlery tray and replace everything neatly.. get rid of all the odds and sods that shouldn't be in there.. have we had a medicine spoon cull recently??
