Morning all, and  to CY.
Biscuit Monster, please take a deep breath and plan your day before you panic. I find it helps to list everything on here in a logical (to me) order so that I deal with one area at a time and can then shut the door on that room to keep the mess from the rest of the house out.

This morning I have already re-hemmed one leg of DH's uniform trousers  (he's now gone off to play trains all day), checked my finances  and written an email to my goddaughter's mother, who is too busy to talk on the phone :(

Today I want to start by reducing the ever-growing pile of office work:
    - shower and :coffee:
    - emails to DD, G, B, H
    - print out and check home insurance docs
    - file Gift Aid paperwork and update records
    - fill in form to send to HMRC (needs further signatures on Sunday)
    - file all other papers
    - phonecalls to toy shop, DDiL2, E+T
    - text message to J+A
    - empty all bins
    - QHI
    - design poster and tickets for choir
    - design flyer for Old Wives Group fundraising event
    - email C re notice sheet
    - empty tubs of bulbs, prepare for summer planting
    - mow lawn
    - weed the drive
    - update diary on my phone
    - cross-check my diary with DH's, if he can stay awake this evening

The washing is up to date, and the rest of the housework flying will get done in one fell swoop on Monday morning, when DH can help.

Will update later. Hope everyone has a good day x

    Morning all :hello:

CY - Glad to hear you're getting plenty of R&R
ATB - I used to feel the same way when my DD was small and we went to stay at her grandparents.
Mrs MP - Hope the ecg goes okay

Been reasonably productive today already. Had a shower, stripped my bed, put the washer on a quick clean wash, dark load is just about to finish (I hope), made a delivery to a customer, collected a book someone had already left out, let the rat man into the alleyway to put poison down, (Fly code) confirmed there is a massive dead rat in a fenced off area (its body is at least the size of an A4 page in length ), done dailies upstairs and sorted out a pile of work related paperwork. Just waiting on the WM and my phone to finish then I'll hang a wash load out and go for my first trip to collect in books. I want to get stuff out asap as the forecast is heavy rain from about 3pm. Morning all,

I have been awol for a few days as we have been on holiday. Well, I say holiday, it was just like being at home but in the sun. Self catering with two small people in a friend's apartment, so we were on constant watch for the kids not damaging anything/going on the sofa whilst sandy etc etc. I feel more tired than when i went!

Will catch up later, need to see to smalls. Have lovely days all x

thats why I stay at home.. I cant be doing with the extra hassle, work and stress.. it was like slave camp for however long we were away.

Slave camp sums it up perfectly! I was scrubbing sandy tidemarks off the bath daily, grumbling to myself that it was harder than being at home and much more expensive! We are staying put from now on, and having staycations at home :)

    So far:
    - VAT return done
    - DW and WM done
    - Pile of clothes flung on bed for DH to sift through - i think they are all chazzable
    - Cheque written
    - Online banking done (wish I hadnt bothered it's too depressing!)

Off to munch some ham and cheese now x
    MFW :)

Sorry to hear that ValliCat has crossed Rainbow Bridge. :(

FBO congrats on your "birthday" - hope the nincompoops can get your paperwork sorted soon.

    Welcome home FFP.

Wolf's Lair resembles the corporation tip - we have clothes strewn everywhere, half-packed cases, and I'm in a major stress. Why, oh why do I bother with holidays??

Anyways, hopefully later today order will emerge from the chaos - then tomorrow, off we go. I'm not taking the netbook, so I'll be incommunicado all next week (don't have a smartphone or tablet) so I'm afraid you'll all have to Fly without me for a bit. Think you can cope? :rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

So you can come home and complain about it and realise why you don't go too often :p

I have done a Pigpen and been rage flinging, I thought as a household we were fully Kondo'd but it's truly amazing what seems to appear from nowhere when your back is turned. So this afternoon I have:

    - Dispatched DH to do the pre-school and nursery runs
    - Filled a blue Ikea bag full of clothes and other misc to be dropped at the chazza tomorrow
    - Loaded and unloaded DW and TD
    - Steam cleaned the bathroom floor
    - Spoke to the council tax peeps - I am trying to give them money yet they make it very difficult!
    - Done some emails for DH business

Cuppa time now, must enjoy the peace before the small people descend and chaos ensues x
