I am on strike
Power to the people! One out all out!:T:T
I'm on a go slow. In a right grump.
DW and em have been on
Am expecting a complaint from a parent who is also a governor whose child came running in to class at lunchtime sobbing because I sent her back out to the mDS as it is their job to deal with issues at lunchtime and children shouldn't be in the building unsupervised at lunchtime. There's a real problem with kids in that class just coming in for spurious reasons and they have been told repeatedly not to.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning ladies - I've come up for air...what a week!
Will be flying today on and off list...
Sorry to hear about your moggie Valli
Bossy - I'm with you sister - my kids are horrid at the moment. I think you're right about it being a long term Piggers. Small's behaving like a spoilt brat as and for Tiny, well, words fail me
My list for today includes finishing an email listing all contents lost for the next part of my flood claim, cleaning the fish tank, changing my bed as Tiny vommed on it this morning (I only changed it last night ) laundry and ironing, soft play with Small and his little girlfriend later, muck out chickens, take delivery of online food order and sort out my knicker drawer...
Hugs to all you lovelies xxx0 -
Phew! They are gone
DD has jam on her face and her tights are inside out but she thinks she's all grown up lol. I did have to relent a little and sort her medicine for her. Oh and she announced at 8:40 that her shoes are worn through:o
We've had promises of listening and cooperating so we'll see how that works out...
I have a heap of things to do today. Starting with groceries - yuck!
Things can only get better, peeps! Famous last words...Bossymoo

Morning all :hello:
Bossy - Good luck with the strike
So far today I've spent a good half hour playing games on my phone so that's my me time had, fed me and the dog, I've put the WM on a boil/extra rinse/lots of soda crystals/vinegar/disinfectant wash and done an hour or so of reading up on some articles online. Todays plan is to get my work admin done so I can throw out the spare boxes and hide away all my work stuff before the weekend. I'm only allowing a box file & a bankers box to stay out and thats because its my accounts for my tax return which will be next weeks job. I'd planned to do it today but I have too much other admin which has a closer deadline to get through. I'm going to fly when I need a brain break.

fruit delivery arrived.. one happy Pixie!
WM on .. it's been loaded for about 3 days but it has been grotty weather.. I need the rest of thelaundry gathering up once OH gets back.. so I can get the other one on.. it is 3/4 full already with bedding.
I need to go get Dot from nursery if I can find some shoes that fit.. OH is out until about 12ish unfortunately..
I have to hoof DS2 out to the jb centre this afternoon and the cat is at vet at the same time.. I need to locate a few letters for that too.. when I get back.. and DD2 is getting kicked too.. she is peeing me right off with her tota llack of regard for anyone else in the house.
DS3 has gone to college with a huge flea in his ear.. he has decided he can talk to me like I am something he trod in... well, matey, the days of people getting away with speaking to me like that ended about 7 years ago when I kicked CF out and if he thinks he is trying it he will come a cropper!! Obnoxious !!!!!!... he hasn't had any of his counselling sessions for a few weeks as she has been off sick but I am calling later to get him back in, he is much better when he has the appointments. .. Apparently it was my fault he doesn't know where his college group was working yesterday and that he didn't know which bus to catch.. even though had be got there on time they have an organised transport to get them there and back and he chose to not get up and to get there 45 minutes late.. my fault! lol... I did threaten to give him a slap in the chops for the way he was speaking to me too.. ggggrrrr....
boy cats deflea'd .. need to catch the girls.. Hazel is lopping her fuz everywhere... can't be doing with bugs!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Kids, eh?
Well I've got groceries in, and then I've put a wash on, dusted vacced and mopped all downstairs, and cleaned the loo and sink. I've mopped myself into the conservatory so I'm having a breather while the floors dry.
My steam mop wasn't heating, tbh it annoys me anyway *fling* and I usually just use the regular mop. Less crappola in my cupboard:T
Forgot I said I'd collect devil child and his sister after school. Although their dad might be there in time. Fingers crossed! Can do without him in the house at the same time as DD.
The kids can help tidy the conservatory later...Bossymoo

Wanted to check on a work emails and it seems my boss has copied me in on his "bossy is leaving let's have a collection " email lol
I replied saying I'd love to contribute but I'm on a budget now :rotfl:
He's mortified! Oops!
Rather impressed at anything being organised to be honest, that's usually my job (!) although he's cutting it fine a bit... Consequently he's asked if I can be in the office on Wednesday - suits me as I can drop off my laptop etc and save going in to return everything on another day...
Spuds cooking for tea, I'll go bring the beasties home...Bossymoo

Hi,
Kaz get well soon x
Bossy , children Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Dd1 said this morning that everyone in her class has their ears pierced. (The fact that she is one of only five of her year group in the class, the rest are older, was and argument that held no water with her). I told her she could have them done when she was responsible enough to look after them herself. Told her she could start by getting herself ready for school in time without me prompting and shouting. Cue her stood in front of the tv at 8.40 in a pair of tights and shirt only, with wild hair. Then I stayed shouting.
Phew. Here is my massive listy for today and the rest of the weekend.
