    Quick update from me:

    - All toilets cleaned
    - DW reloaded
    - 3 loads drying in the sun
    - Recycling sorted to take to MiLs (we missed bin day last week and its fit to burst)
    - Fridge cleaned out

Gardeners are here mowing the lawn, our treat to ourselves is getting someone to do the lawn and hedges, he's a local chap who is lovely and sometimes you have to accept it's easier to pay for someone to do the things that you really don't like doing

    Enjoy the sun folks x

Katiecat I am so sorry to read your sad news. (((HUG)))

Well, I am not organised at all today; workman was supposed to be here at 09:00 to put down shingle and do the hole and concrete for the post for the whirligig. Come 11:30, still no sign of him. Mr LW had been trying to ring, but kept getting a "we cannot connect your call" message. Cue worrying if the workman had been injured or something. Anyways, he finally got through to head honcho's wife, who chased it all up, and a different chap (one who's been on the team, though) turned up at 13:00.

So I have no washing line, and have done a bedlinen wash today. Mr LW's answer would have been to tumble dry it. What?? Put the dryer on, when it's blazing sunshine?? Not on your Nelly - I have the three A-frames ranged out on the back lawn with bedlinen draped over them.:D

Ah - looks like head honcho has just arrived to inspect the work - I dare say he'll want paying, then.

Anyways, needless to say, we're all at sixes and sevens again this week, so definitely Flying off-list again.

    Afternoon all
Thank you for the lists natty and pigpen
My deepest condolences to you and your family katiecat. So sorry for your loss.
Been at work all day, before I went , I hung a load of wet washing out, brought the overnight out washing in, did a quick wool wash and got that hung out, watered all the plats, filled the bird feeder washed up and s&sed the kitchen. After work I've hung and clipped a support net to the arch for the beans and peas. Home now just having a quick read through then I've got a load of dry folded washing to put away and then I'll make tea.

Hello all. Before going out for the day I did manage to hoover downstairs and cut the back grass so not too bad. Since coming back, I've cut DHs hair and relaxed in the garden. Out tonight. Currently trying to get the dogs to eat their tea, but they're not interested, too hot.

Eldest two kids in bed and hopefully little miss won't be long!! Then when hubby gets home from his run we are going to paint the last two walls in the hallway. Then hopefully hubby will rip the carpet up so I can gloss the skirting boards and door frames. New carpets come next Monday so want all the paint well and truly dry before then.

    List update....

    - Caught up on emails including one from the B&B I booked last night for Mr N's semi-retirement celebration.
    - did an assessment so as a result the dining room is covered in books, laptop, papers and test materials. Oops. I am an anti-fly:(
    - printed off paperwork for another 2 assessments booked so that is 4 this week and 1 next week. Groan.
    - put away some of the junk round the kitchen.
    - let man in who came to measure and quote for new garage door; current one (24yrs old) is poorly fitting, lets in a lot of draught and leaves and takes up space. Planned new one is insulated and will fit.
    - Hm, that's about it. Been trying to finish another report so better get back to it.
