I'm scrapping the Mr A shop today. After sorting out the fridge & freezer I've realised there's plenty of stuff for DD to use tomorrow for her packed lunch (the main reason I was going) and I really need to do my "summer" type meal shop which involves buying lamb steaks etc which I can fling in and serve with salad. We currently have an oxtail, a rack of ribs and about 1 serving of chicken bits. :rotfl: By going tomorrow instead I can price comparison Mr A with other places and get the best deal...once DD comes home with her laptop. Mine just through a major wobbler when I tried to go on my5upermarket
So instead I'm going to deal with the sack of dog food while I watch a film.I wonder how many bags I can get out of 15kg this time?

Congrats to bossy and ionafan. Chuffed for you both.
Valli- glad to hear about the positivity. She must have some good support systems in place.
I'm feeling quite hacked off with everything at the mo. I think it's the constant jobs that I do to find it all needing done again a few minutes later. Hubby and kids don't seem to help. Feeling like going on strike!!!
Have also arranged with ds1 that he is going to have his own list everyday (with just three things in it) - he is very excited about hoovering!!! Lol! And it will feed into his reward chart. So hopefully he will feel more accountable. Out all day today so the pit will still be there when we get home after dinner! Hubby has been galovanting so let him try to make a comment!!!! If I hear one more time- what exactly have you done today or 'I shouldn't have to come home and do jobs when I have been working all day! Grrrr!!!! Aww Bossy I am so pleased things are working out for you, it seems like its been quite a tough journey to get to where you are but I am so excited for you. Glad that things are working out for Iona too. I love a bit of good news!
OH cooked us all a big english breakfast this morning and we sat round the table discussing our plans for today. I cherish these moments, I see so little of my boys nowadays. I was feeling all warm and happy then went into the bathroom and saw that someone had peed on the seat, the shower looked filthy and a wet towel had been dumped on top of the laundry basket. Grrr.
Frizzle that seems so unfair. Blokes dont realise that looking after kids is hard work. We appreciate what you do even if he doesnt!
Right, I am supposed to be finishing an audit, then there is hoovering to be done.0 -
YL don't get me started about certain people peeing on the seat!
I had just one comment to make - "If you need to get up during the night, PUT THE DAMN BATHROOM LIGHT ON!!!!!!" :wall:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Evening all,
I've been at mum and dads yesterday and this morning, then came back home for Sunday lunch out with friends. After that I bought myself a new handbag, small then I can't fill it to the brim with carp. Got home and mowed the lawn (it takes a while) and left the children to do their homework.
This is what they did to the kitchen

So Frizzle ,I feel your pain, I spend all my time sorting this sort of thing out over and over again! Grrrrrrr.
Oh well, tomorrow is another day.0 -
I did the dog food; 165 bags/meals worth sorted  I'm doing the ironing tomorrow. DD's got uniform, and I'll tackle the kitchen then as well. Mr A's is being bumped to Tuesday, when I can get a bus pass and hit a few shops at the same time.
DD went to put the bins out and saw a rat in the alleyway. That's me contacting the council tomorrow as no-one else will probably spot them. I'm calling them rather than emailing just in case the neighbour next door but one who uses the alleyway twice a day to get his bike in and out, has spotted them & reported them. I'm not surprised though considering the amount of take-away related fly tipping (aka can't be bothered to put it in a bin so fling it over the wall) that happened last week. The poor bin men had to clear it up on Tuesday and were here for ages doing it..
Any way, I'm off to bed after chasing DD into hers. Its going to be a busy house week for me :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Ouch at that kitchen mess biscuit...
Cleaned my car and did checks, cleaned DDs whilst I was at it and went through checks with her. Cooked Sunday lunch cleaned out bunny and went to morries and FINALLY found the cat soup I thought would be worth giving my old lady, reduced to clear. Bought 3, she scoffed the whole lot of one packet without a problem So kids sent back to buy 20 more. Up to now she has been surviving on jelly off the meat and cat milk. She is still appearing pain free so just lots of TLC while we can.
Oh and watched the Victoria Wood tribute so sad, what a genius we have lost.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0
