Blimey kazw nature at its best, eh?

Just had coffee so feeling a bit more human ;) better night had last night. I had a lovely soak in an Epsom Salt bath, might have helped.

Kiddies are happily drawing on some big sheets of paper, so I actually get to watch the news! Haha. "Who's that man, mum?" "David Cameron" "oh, people don't like him, do they" lol, DS tells it like it is...

Last night I dusted and vacced downstairs. I don't know what came over me, lol. Perhaps I needed a lie down after :rotfl:

Woke up to a funny smell. Realised I had a gammon in the slowcooker - look forward to that later!!!

Today is ballet, laundry and a visit to town later as the "American diner" has an event on. TV character vehicles from the 80s - the A Team van, KITT from Knightrider, the De Lorean from Back to the Future and some Transformers, lol. Should be fun. I think Optimus Prime is supposed to be there, a full size truck, lol.

Might see if my dad wants to go...

DD has ballet rosettes exams tomorrow. Enjoy your weekends, everyone!

  • Morning all,

Can't believe I've not posted since Tuesday! Just shows how much flying I've not been doing. Well, I've been keeping up with the dailies, and doing the odd other bit. Thanks for the day off Natty , I'll take it!
    CY hope the ringworm disappearsx
I went to give blood on Thursday and they sent me packing because my haemoglobin levels were too low. Now I've got a blood test to look forward to on Tuesday. I am frantically eating iron rich food.
I won't post my list, it is much too long. I will post my amazing progress later. I was thinking of visiting mum and dad, it's been too long.

    Catch you all later x

Apologies for being AWOL for two days. Suffice it to say that painting fences when you feel 'orribly sick to begin with, and only have the use of one arm, is not the most sensible way of utilising the day.

Not sure what's come over Mr LW - he's played four - FOUR - CDs this afternoon! He never bothers with CDs; and I'm too much of a wimp to ask to have them on, so normally I never get to listen to any music, so it's been a pleasant change. :o Be even nicer if he asked me what I'd like to listen to, but you can't have everything. :rotfl:

*Checks clock* Nearly time for Dotty's walk, so I'd better get organised for that next. :o

Light wash out on the line, 5 minutes later my immediate neighbours light a BBQ :( My house, never mind the washing, smells now. I just hope the breeze airs it enough that I don't need to rewash it all. They could have warned me as they saw me hanging it out! Anyway, DD's blazer is now washed and I'll hang it from her curtain rail in her room with the window shut to dry. I'll do another load of laundry and hope that the bag of charcoal has burnt itself out enough that its not producing clouds of smoke by the time it's finished.

    Today:

    Change batteries in DD's toothbrush
Laundry: darks, towels, throws, dog toys/towels/blankets, - dark is now in 3 loads! 1 load in

DD definitely hasn't been cleaning as well I'd like judging by what I've just cleaned in my bedroom. But at least it's been given a good go now. Off to take this blazer upstairs and grab the next wash

ETA: Upstairs is looking great, now onto the downstairs....

Sorry to post my list again but it's easier for me to see what's left to do. :o

Stopped to eat tea but I've been very productive. Kitchen is going to be somewhat problematic as there's still laundry in there as well as a pile of work related recycling which needs to go both of which will take a while to work through, oh and a 15kg bag of dog food which needs bagging up into individual portions. I should have it finished by tomorrow just in time for DD to come home with a pile of washing and to make a mess :rotfl:

Time to get the jobs in the kitchen started. Hopefully I can get it finished tonight so I don't have to spend tomorrow cleaning as well.
