So far today I've put the gardening bin out (Dh had done all the others) and made a batch of cakes for the charity day at school. Will be busy at work all day. Dh has left over veggie bake for lunch so that's sorted.
Got to help ds1 fill some forms in tonight he's been called up for jury service.
Blanket looks lovely pigpen.
Good luck with the book folding mummyroys, they are lovely designs, I find that very therapeutic to do.

Dailies done, DDs bed stripped, DD's stuff to pack set out on the bed so she can see anything she's forgotten like her phone charger and hairdryer, DD's bedding in to wash (which is nearly finished) and now I'm going to get on with work. It won't take long I hope if everything continues to work properly :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0

I really admire creative people, those are lovely. I love the butterflies.
Not a very encouraging time at the physio today; she isn't seeing the improvement she was hoping for, and there are bits of referred pain in other parts of my arm if she presses hard! I've just rung the hospital again to see if there are any sooner spaces for the scan - mine is 25th. They said not today, but happy for me to ring every morning next week to check for cancellations. Almost bought chocolate on the way home to console myself but settled for a C0sta, planning to bake cake later.......then remembered aga still brokenengineer is coming back for the 3rd time this afternoon, in the middle of an assessment no doubt.
At least I managed to get to the library today at opening time and paid my fine; bring back mobile library I say - no fines, no travelling and predictable 'opening time'.
Think I have fairy envy - still haven't seen mine. Spotted woodpecker venturing to the feeder behind my computer so I've had a few close viewings of him/her.
Right; down to report typing, then webinar, then assessment. Mr A this eve I fear.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Dancemum it's called "What to do when you worry too much" by Dawn Huebner. He loves it. We're only up to chapter 5 but already found there are things that he can use to help - and he understands it all which is the good thing.
Although he cried at bedtime last night - said he was worried about cheese giving him nightmares - I didn't laugh but that was sure hard work! He'd not even had any cheese since lunchtime. I think really, he was tired and and a bit "all worried out" and just needed to cry the tension away.
That said, it's not a challenging book, it's very friendly. I think we just looked at it too late.
Been to kitchen place this morning, the ones I wasn't impressed with. Actually, they came up with a design the same as the other, lol. And the design lady had more modern ideas so I guess it just comes down to price. They both have excellent reviews, I know personally people who have kitchens from both and they are good quality. So I'll wait for the price then decide.
Groceries are bought and put away, kitchen tidied and I'm going to have an hour or two rest. We don't seem to be sleeping well this week
Phew! It's the weekend!Bossymoo

Work sort of done. I'm on the last stretch of the books but I knew I needed to transfer some files from DD's laptop to mine before she got home. She'll be in any time so I need to go make sure she has everything etc which means putting work on hold until after she's gone. I've contacted a customer I was supposed to call on tomorrow and arranged to go tonight instead. That means tomorrow I can either have a lazy day, or work in the house, in my slob clothes
Sunday I'll get dressed properly as I'll have to go to Mr A for fresh sandwich fillings and DD will be coming home.
Right, I best get this shut down as she's just walked through the door. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Thanks Bossy I will order a copy X
Got off to a rocky start today when Miss Muddy Paws ate my breakfast.
Bin put out for collection. DH put some stuff that had been fly tip near to our garage. Later the bin had been moved into the road and the lid was open and stuff was hanging out. I went to investigate and found someone had added nappies and several pizzas. I was fuming. I didn't mind someone using the spare space but was annoyed that they hadn't had the curtesy to wrap their waste.
12 items sold on e bay and 10 were collected
Paperwork frogs eaten
Ground floor dysoned
Ironing done and put away
2 loads X Wm done
Bathroom s&s
Cs bag filled
Rose tree re potted. Friend brought me some compost but fell in the alley behind our house. She seems ok, please send don't be hurt vibes for her. Thanks.0 -
