He hasn't somehow managed to wire it up so that both properties are going through your meter, has he...?
That is a possibility worth investigating.
Even if he personally hasnt done it - that "old lady" might know someone who is capable of doing it and she certainly sounds selfish/hard enough that she might have done it.
I've seen this done to someone before now and they wouldnt believe me when I queried why their electric bills were so high and told them to investigate it - and nor would they apologise to me when they found out a tenant in an adjacent building had (quite deliberately) wired in their electric supply to this person and were stealing electric from them:cool:0 -
If that really is the case then report it.

But I think that you need to be a bit clearer as what you think is going on.0 -
When you don't want heat, turn it off. If she wants heat she can power it. You can't be obliged to use electricity you pay for.0

Right to answer your questions .
The container is hers not the LL it was used to store a classic car which she sold when her husband died.
its a old shipping container.
I cant report for theft yet as as some of you say I need to prove it.
Getting an independent report is going to cost and will rock the boat and LL is very petty when in a corner.
I think its to go and find somewhere else to move to.
Thanks to everyone for their replies0 -
Yes just move, your LL seems to be taking you for a ride and your neighbour just sounds totally crazy.
Surely there are places that allow dogs?0 -
