Internet in Halls

Read the small print, or rather read between the lines. Many Halls are advertised as having internet connection or a data point in rooms, commonly they don't tell you payment is required to connect your PC/laptop. It's likely to be around £100, so budget accordingly or be prepared to wait until your loan comes through.…

Well my uni doesn't have anything like that so it'd be something to look out for at least. I didn't stay in halls but when I was visiting my friends their internet was rubbish. They were better off going to the library or the unions.
