Is that good for eye's? I use their Ultrabland on my face, but not on my eyes as I tend to stick to specific eye make up removers, but if 9-5 gets everything off without any issues I'll give that a try.
Ultrabland is great for removing eye makeup including waterproof, I just put a little on my fingers and massage it over my eyes and then wipe it off with a cotton pad. 9-5 is okay but I struggled removing waterproof and not great if you get it into your eyes.

Thank you that saves me buying something new, always wary of putting stuff near my eyes, so hadn't tried it before.
  • I don't use waterproof mascara, so I can't comment on 9-5's performance there. I usually find leaving it a few seconds to dissolve the make-up is helpful whatever product I use (except Ultrabland, 'cos that needs water to be activated, but worked fine on eye make-up too). 9-5 works fine on my eyes though. I just put a little bit on a cotton wool pad, hold it over the eye for a few seconds and then it all comes off. :)

Hi, Emma uses this and I squirted a bit out for research purposes for you this morning. It is yellow coloured and when applied to the back of my hand gave a lovely golden sheen. Hers will not have gone off as she uses it regularly so it sounds like yours is safe.

Thanks for conducting research for me! :) :T

I derail myself by accepting all the lovely freebies I'm offered to review. My proper collecting thing is Christmas tree decorations. I have spent many hundreds of pounds over the years.
I just spent £12.99 on importing one from America that you can't get over here.
I also have a thing about mugs and cups. Wilkos regularly derail me.

Then as I was getting better, a student counselor talked to me about how performing daily rituals for self-care is part of good mental health. I never really considered that until he said it and I started taking more care and making myself feel beautiful. This was just one little thing on my path towards finding my self-worth but it genuinely did help.

You've really made me think Lucia. It has been the other way round for me. As my self worth and confidence has increased I have found myself able to spend more time taking care of my appearance and stopped worrying so much about having people judge me for wearing makeup. Which they were probably never doing in the first place.

Still no UU's in May - rubbish month! I've hit major pan on my blusher - but caught a bit of sun over the weekend and can see that the blusher is going to be too light over the summer, so think I may have to put it away until October. How frustrating!

I wear waterproof mascara, especially in hayfever season, and can't handle the staff in Lush. Has anyone got any other recommendations for removers? At the moment I am using a Simple one that just smears it all over my face and leaves it there but I'm determined to finish the bottle :rotfl:

My storage unit under the bathroom sink is looking really bare now. It looks so odd. On one hand, I'm super happy that I'm using all my products up and not hoarding, but on the other hand, i'm slightly panicking.

I've had a bad day so going to treat myself to a nice bath tonight. Pamper evening it is!

I agree with everyone. I think this thread is suppose to be about support. I wish you all the best in your journey! I know I sure need the help lol.

Hello :) just caught up with the thread and finished off last months. I think I was MIA for most of April and TBH can't remember if I have any UUs or not. :o I do know that I've not had any INs until today but it was free so even better - a nice smelling handwash to test. :T
The bottle looks like Liz Earle so should be quite nice I think :D

    In haste as usual

Does anyone have any recommendations for something that's good for sensitive eye's/skin and that will get everything off? Only got about a weeks worth left in the bottle.

Almond oil-- it was so gentle. I thought it was only me who had that issue with lancome eye remover. Avoid nivea if you have sensitive eyes.

Ohhhh cups!! Don't get me started :) I'm obsessed with buying those plastic soda cups with the straw, I love them. Always have one by my bed with juice in for raking my tablets... The plastic lids are brilliant as they stop dust and flies etc getting in your drink. And the soda glasses in the different colours that are a pound in tesco. I have every colour :o mum just laughs now as I've filled the cupboards :o

Other obsession is Yankee candles, I keep telling myself 8 large jars and a small jar are more than enough, but there's so many amazing sounding scents, especially Deerfield ones, that I can't help lusting over them!!

It does say a lot about my toiletry obsession though that I got a primark voucher for my birthday and I'm more excited about browsing the beauty section in there than looking at the clothes :rotfl: :o also have a next voucher and I'm more interested in their perfumes than clothes, I like the sound of paradise island but need to smell it first! Don't need it but technically it'll be free so it's ok, right?!

Currently my lush obsession us getting out of hand toiletry wise. I have a thing for their jellies and shower gels currently especially kitchen. I know I shouldn't but I am soooo tempted to get the creamed coconut smoothie, it sounds like it would smell amazing, I'm really liking coconut at the moment. I did buy lush Turkish delight off eBay which goes out of date in July (put it in shower straight away) as I had wanted it so badly but it doesn't smell at all like I imagined it would or what it was described as on lush website... it smells like soap and just plain soap, I thought it would stink of Rose! (Which I would love ha) very disappointed, especially as it's just come on lush kitchen, I should have waited, do any of you have Turkish delight and does yours smell good? Going to get it used anyway but I'm kind of sad it didn't live up to my expectations :(

Ohh and b&BW pocketbacs currently too, I may have bought a bundle of them off of depop... I use them constantly at work though so worth it for me, they are the only hand gels that don't dry my hands out plus the scents are amazing.
