I would be careful what you admit to on a public forum! Strictly speaking, re-using stamps is illegal (fraud).

I would have put it more strongly than that - ie "Re-using stamps is theft" ....

Re. Yellow Stickers. Probably everyone knows as I am usually the last one to.Tesco are discontinuing the final markdowns (only marking down to 75%). The manager says they are going to charities at the end of day.

When I was recently in Tesco the last markdown was 75% off. I am ok with that, at least it's better than full price. I'm due a visit sometime this week.

If you put the tele on you will see me yellow sticker shopping on Rip off Britain on Friday morning.

I shower at work - I walk and sweat lots constantly even in the 15 minutes it takes to get there and even when it's freezing outside so I figure it saves me time getting changed at work. The hot water saving is just a bonus.

I constantly annoy my OH by walking from one end of the high street to the other just to save 50p on something.

I rinse out my toiletries bottles and use the washings but perhaps that's just sensible.

I save all of the odds and ends and wax lumps from candles that the wick has burned down to nothing on and add them to an almost-empty Yankee candle jar. When it's full, I'll melt it down and add a new wick to make a new candle.

I reused teabags when I was a student, but the second cup was never as nice (I like a strong cuppa).

I've always taken a packed lunch to work. Calculating how much you've saved over the years as you watch colleagues buy a sarnie (£4), crisps (90p), pop (90p) and choc bar (75p) every day is one of life's great pleasures.

I use ecofriendly washing up liquid which is more expensive, but that means the dirty water can go on the garden and save on the metered bill. My neighbours aren't gardeners so no doubt find the sight odd.

Buying teabags 1/2 price = :money:

Using more than once = rank

    IMHO.
That's the beauty of loose leaf tea. You can use just the amount you need for your perfect cuppa, and not have manky tea bags kicking about the place waiting to be "used up".

I will quite happily going to the loo at work instead of waiting till I get home.
If i'm out and in the public toilets I will happily sit there and roll up some toilet roll. You never know when it's going to be needed. I haven't confessed this to my other half yet...

Agree on the going to the loo thing, but don't borrow extra toilet roll. However, I am partial to quality paper hand towels.

Note the re-use of tea bags which I don't have a problem with, but I am bothered by those using two teabags and throwing both away - what a waste!
