When I get asked by my kids for a stamp, I give them the ones I've cut off of envelopes that haven't been franked. If you put them over a boiling kettle spout, you can get them off if you are careful, quick dab of glue, there you go! My kids hate doing it, think I'm tight and prefer to use a new one, so they usually go and buy one. Everyone's a winner!0

My children are appalled that I reuse teabags. I reckon that if the same bag in a cup for three minutes is OK, why not three sessions of 1 minute? (Or nearer 7+ of a few seconds for those of us who like our tea weak.) Bag gets tucked into a cup under the sink in the meantime.0

In winter I put it on top of the mattress and it acts as an additional insulting layer - I also did this for a few months when I was getting around to replacing my old tatty mattress as extra padding.
If your bed has started "insulting" you maybe it's time you did change the sheets ! :rotfl:0 -

Blegh - I can't stand when my mom does this.
As I point out to her - If she's fine with it, then why is it she has the fresh one and I always have the leftovers? That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

A nice tea pot with a cute cosy on the other hand...That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.
