Oh dear, comprehension just does not seem to be your strong point.
Watch out for the goats crossing0 -
Sorry old fruit but not sure I understand what the goats are crossing. You must be right and my comprehension is not as spiffing as it once was.0

Shakespeare could not have written it better! Oh wait, he did, it was called comedy of errors, although it had neither goats nor trolls LMSO (laughing me socks off!)0

it is called a loss leader, they make a loss on these free drinks but gain that and more back by getting new footfall into the stores which clearly translates to increased sales, as they would have ended this offer ages ago if not.
And yes I do get the odd item in waitrose as now live near oneI am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0 -
I do see what you mean about a loss leader, but the people I see are definitely not purchasing any items.
I do hope that my local Waitrose doesn't turn into one of those soup kitchens one sees on the news. I fear for myself sometimes.0 -

You should learn some forum etiquette! Clearly that passed you by.
You can always tell the wind-up merchants who don't know how to contribute to a discussion from the real forum users.
If the riff-raff in Waitrose bother you, just send one of the kitchen staff to pick up your groceries.0 -
I am sorry my good man, please tell me the etiquette I am naughtily missing.
I like to visit the shops myself to keep it real, as the young ragamuffins I hear speak say.0
