My Broadband was due to go up £1.90 per month in these price increases by BT but with no useful benefits to me as the speed of the broadband was staying the same, so I called them and managed to knock it down to the pre-price increase price!
Definitely worth a try, freephone number to call them and it has now saved me about £23 a year than if I had just accepted the price increases. Mind you I would have left BT for TalkTalk had they not kept my monthly price as is (£8/month for standard unlimited broadband and ALR already paid for this year!)0 -
Just had an Email, might jump to SSE
£21 a month for 18 months , upto 76mb fibre, line rental and 24/7 calls
£130 cashback
Seems too good to be true ?

I don't think your link is working, but I have just gone for this. I've been happy with BT on fibre, signing a 12 month deal in July last year, but seeing this deal in conjunction with the price rise made it an easy choice.
£130 cashback gives 6 months free and then £21 a month for a package I'm paying nearly £40 for at the moment.0 -
A small query
What is the new monthly charge for evenings and weekends? I can't see it anywhere.0 -

The other prices there look like those current now. I meant those that will apply from July.0 -

Had my price rise email from BT on the 8th. Looked at the personalised offer (£10 for Infinity BB & Calls) on the 11th, discussed it with them on the 12th and its gone up to £22 per month on the 13th. They won't honour either the original offer or the one discussed with their call centre. Looking for a new provider.
I'm off after 37 years of the Post Office/BT!0 -
Possible that second offer is a mistake .
I checked my offer and yes its much higher then rechecked it and its the original .0 -

However my real concern is that I checked their personalised offer (£10 for Infinity BB & Calls) on the 11th, discussed it with them on the 12th and its gone up £12 per month today....

Yes seem to be personal offers as my Infinity 1 offer is £14pm . About £1-50 less than current cost .0
