right round 3 is for the offing!!
got a letter today from the planning officer that he has submitted a revised scheme of his original plan, cant see what yet as the plans wont be online until monday, and havent got time to get to the council offices before they shut for the weekend
it still says a 4 bed 2 storey house so i dont see how he could of revised it that much.
oh well lets see what monday brings. I just need this now and to be honest had a cry when i received the letter.0 -

Have you been on garden law website?0

tell them you have seen some newts on yours and his siteIt is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
Divadee I dont see how, if it's a 2 storey development still, that either of the main reasons for rejection would not apply.
He can't be that badly in debt if he can keep affording to get plans drawn up, starting to think he claims he's not well off just for sympathy from neighbours maybe.matched betting: £879.63

I wish you luck
We had our neighbour apply to convert the house adjoined to us into flats
We fought a long battle and eventually won :T :j
www.nfh.org is a good site that was helpful and supportive throughout our ordeal which turned very nasty :mad:0 -

i agree about the debt situation i think it was all lies. Also he has employed a planning consulatant again to help with the revised plans so he really cant be that poor. BUT the rumour that a developer is paying the bills is still on the cards, and he will get the PP and then sell up to the developer. who knows.
I cant wait till monday to see the plans, at least then i will know what to base my objections on, But like you said a 2 storey development would still fall well within what the planning iinspectorate refused it on, so hopefully he is flogging a dead horse.
I will update what the revisions are, when i see them on monday.0 -
Well done, divadee.0

Well I have finally seen the plans, and the 16 page statement the applicant paid his planning consultant to do.
At first read i was very dispondant. After reading the statement a few more times, I found a few points I could contradict. After reading it tonight and speaking to the local councillor (who tells me the planning consultant always does these huge long statements which are nothing more than that statements and not facts) i feel a bit brighter.
There are quite a lot of points in the statement i can back up as false and with evidence to prove they are false as well.
I will be speaking to the planning officer tomorrow morning, as she has been away on leave until then, so hopefully will get a better picture of the whole situation.
The revised plans are basically he has slightly scaled down the bulk of the dwelling (and slightly means half a metre:rolleyes: ) he has also changed the upstairs so that it is 5m away from the boundary and the downstairs is 3m away with a slight flat roof on about 2m of it. He has also removed the windows from the rear and put them on the side elevation but we can still be overlooked.
Other than taking out the integral garage, not much else has changed.
One of my arguements is it is still going to obtusive in the shear size of its bulk and height.0 -
I haven't any knowledge of planning and so on, so can't offer any ideas. Just wanted to say Good Luck with it all.
Best wishes0
