Shala - Can you raise my target to 30lbs please?
I've lost weight on holiday before, we're staying at a friends house in Prestatyn and looking after his animals, so that'll keep me busy, but I'll be able to eat as normal. The week after we are going to stay on the caravan park where they film Sooty! Might be a little harder, but I'll do my best.
For me, dieting is more of a frame of mind for me, at a meeting yesterday I wasn't tempted by the biscuits, our team meeting today has a deep friend buffet, and I've got my salad.
So hopefully I can stick to it and maintain decent choices. I'll probably have fish n chips one day though0 -

Its all about the frame of mind and getting yourself to the right place with it to do it. Your clearly there, well done! I'm in half hearted city at the mo, but hey I plod on for now happy enough I'm an average size.0 -
Thanks for that Lush, I really need to take myself in hand with the cereals and start eating them, I have Branflakes, Oatibix, Weetabix, Protiflakes and Lizis Granola in the Cupboard and there is only me.
I will maybe have them twice a week for a change, try and run my supplies down.
Yes I am a hoarder and a disgrace lol :rotfl:0 -
Good morning lovelies
Hope you're all well on this chilly Wednesday.
I'm grazing on my dinner at my desk, Top Bloke made this last night and I am hooked:
Chicken, chorizo and sweetcorn pasta bake (2.5 syns + 1/2 HEXA per portion)
– 250g penne pasta (I used wholewheat)
– Fry light
– 2 large skinless chicken breast fillets, cut in to bit size pieces (mine were 380g)
– 1 red pepper, diced
– 1 tin of drained sweetcorn
– 1 diced onion
– 1 small 2″ long chorizo sausage, diced (I used Morisson’s Cooking Sausage) = 2.5 syns per person
– 500g passata
– 250g quark (fat free cheese)
– 1/2 tsp dried chilli flakes
– 80g grated low fat cheddar (half of your daily dairy allowance per person)
– 1 chicken stock cube (I used a stockpot)
– 2 tbsp mixed herbs
– seasoning
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 190 C / Gas mark 5.
2. Cook the pasta in boiling water, drain and set side
3. Spray a roasting dish with fry light and add the chicken, chorizo, pepper, onion & chilli flakes and cook until the chicken is done (approx 30 mins).
5. Now stir in the passata, sweetcorn, stockpot, herbs and seasoning in to the chicken mixture and roast for a further 10 minutes.
6. Stir in the quark then the drained pasta and sprinkle with cheese and roast for 30 minutes.
Big fan and it's lovely cold too...
So today is:Egg and mushroom hash and beans
D) Leftover pasta bake and a side salad of lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, red onion and gherkins
T) Syn free sausages, mashed potatoes, vegetables and onion gravy.
HEXA - 1/2 dinner, 1/2 milk in tea
HEXB - 2 alpen lights
Syns - 2.5 in dinner, 1 in a tikka mugfull, 1.5 in an options hazelnut later
Feeling really tired today, always do when I restart the plan, hopefully it'll pass for the weekend0 -

Cleared out my kitchen cupboard at the weekend and found 31 packets of the old style free savoury rice. Nobody else eats it0 -
Morning all
Not much of it left, I haven't stopped!

Ooh, that's interesting - is it fresh or frozen?I love a Frys Greentiger but haven't seen one here in years.
I really took a notion for Branflakes this morning and a banana, so that's what I had. 30g with almond milk. Don't remember them ever being a HEb cereal so I'll take the hit on that.
I saw Frys Cream bars in Poundland yesterday, in multipacks (they were £1).
Branflakes are definitely a HEB for 35g Lantanna, although I'm pretty sure they weren't when I first started doing SW. It's 4 syns for 25g if you want to syn them instead.Right there's a little black and white fella shouting at me to go to bed  night all..
I didn't realise your DH was a panda...
Jock - will your new target take you beyond where you got to previously? Have a great holiday.
Todays menu:
B: grapefruit (1 tsp honey - 1 syn)
L: WM roll (HEB), ham and saladchicken stir fry with noodles
Have a good day all.

Hello all - I'm trying a few days of SP - I've not done any yet....
B: 2 fried eggs, 3 bacon medallions and some fried up cherry tomatoes
L: going to be a chicken salad with loads of speedI'm thinking a chicken stir fry
I've got to work out the HE a and b - and I'm saving my syns for the weekend (well we've been invited to a piano recital tomorrow night of a client of ours who is a professional pianist and she's having an album launch - there will be wine and canapes at that...will probably have wine but no canapes)
Have a lovely holiday Jocks....
love to all0 -
