A miracle has happened and despite the cake, posh vegi burger, champagne and red wine I've lost 1.5lbs and got my silver 7 at WW :) Also got my 5% certificate :)
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Thanks INOD! I don't crave the way I used to, but its bad enough. I used to be really, really terrible with chocolate - buying at several shops so no shop assistant would know how much I was eating, I really did that

Usually, as long as I have *strong* tastes (herbs and spices, garlic, mustard etc) I'm fine ...

  • Well done everyone :T

I'm back from my business trip. I don't think I was too bad (ate mindfully but drank lots of champagne and cocktails, went to the gym at 04:30 every morning (terrible jet lag) and went for a 10-mile walk on Tuesday). I'll have to see what the scales say in the morning...

Well done Beanie and Sun Addict on your losses!!

Well done INOD on your choc free days!!

I weighed in yesterday and stayed the same
I know why though and I think that makes the difference - I have not been as good with My Fitness Pal and as a result I believe I have overeaten, also on Weds (between 2 fast days) I decided I fancied a pizza so brought a gluten free one and ate the lot - MFP told me it had 800 calories in:eek:. Now I was within my calorie limit for the day even with the pizza but when you consider that it was a cheese and tomato one and I had no fruit and veg that day I think I would have been better off with a vegetable curry or something like that.

Need to pull my socks up and sort this out.
I am away next weekend and wanted to be under 10 stone but alas I won't be.

    4lb off :j

Not sure how, after an initial good start aerobics-wise, I've not managed to do anything thanks to the worst hayfever ever.

Good news is that the ladies at my new workplace are quite salad-central, so it's encouraging me to make sure I turn up with healthy foodstuffs every day ;)
