Sharing hotel room with co-worker

If 10% dont want to share, try to get a room with one of them, and agree to both pay half each for another room for one of you.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

I did once wake up to find 12 colleagues in my room but that was after a very messy awards dinner thing in Berlin, I had to pay a 350 Euro bill before checking out to cover the additional cleaning.
I do have a vague recollection about the suggestion of a room party

You are my kind or (wo)man. :T
Back to the topic, I don't think it's on at all. We don't ask the drivers to share a room when they hotel it.0 -
depends on the company I guess LOL0

Absolutely no way would I share.
I would say I snore loudly/ have nightmares/sleep apnea/ sleepwalk.
Say you were too embarrassed to mention it before, but this is the real reason you can't share.
The only time I came close to this was at Centreparcs, 3 colleagues in separate rooms but just one bathroom, and that was bad enough. A guy I had known for ages made a rather inappropriate sexual comment, and it was awfully embarrassing. I felt quite threatened actually, even though I am pretty sure he wouldn't have actually done anything. I pulled a chair in front of the door.0 -

Is no one else objecting? How many are going? Is it an equal m/f split?
Doesn't there just have to be an even number of m/f attendees? There doesn't actually have to be an equal number.0 -
if there funny it might be ok

We used to have to share at sales conferences back in the 70s/80s. I didn't know any different, and was only in my 20s/early 30s then so it didn't really bother me.
One of the male reps was openly gay, and he always got a room to himself!
I wouldn't share now though, only with my husband, or maybe my sister at a push.
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe
