NSL are a company used by many authorities for on street parking , and like to pretend that they are an authority when it comes to private parking

    http://www.nsl.co.uk/service-enforcement/

they do not rate when it comes to private court claims

could you scan/photo your ticket (erase reg no etc) , and host on tinipics etc , as a new user you cannot post links so change the http to hxxp ,

Well, I parked in what was a permitted area on that private piece of land. Therefore I have received a ticket. That much cannot be contested. I think the signing is adequate, but will check when I'm next there.

The question was as to the legitimacy of the Parking Charge Notice, as I have read that many are in fact not legitimate.

rubbish, signage has to meet the BPA CoP, not just be "adequate"

and it has to meet the CRA 2015 too

plus they need a valid landowner contract of authority (which they wont produce as yet)

you are assuming the land is private, you dont know this for a fact because the council have not said so, neither have the Land Registry

a lot of supposition on your part I think

only a Judge can decide if this invoice is legitimate or not , many are , if backed by correct documentation

So how should I go about this then? As if i do all this appealing for nothing then i've got to pay 100 and not 60. Bit worried about this

Many thanks, Should i submit the template letter online immediately? It was an on screen ticket so is it better to wait? I have also uploaded the document itself if you wanted to take a look, it would be very much appreciated.

    .

if this was a windscreen ticket, and if you had read the NEWBIES sticky thread, post #1 , you would know exactly when to appeal to the windscreen ticket

if there was no windscreen ticket, or if this ticket came in the post (an NTK) , you would appeal within 28 days and ideally quite quickly

so check that NEWBIES sticky thread again, see what it tells you

because when you DO appeal, you choose one of the methods they list, plus it varies according to if its an online appeal (which is immediate), or if its royal mail (which is deemed delivered 2 days later)

so the relevancy is down to how long the appeal takes to get there
