Clotted cream fudge from Whitby, anyone?
I did my bit even on the fudge buying from our holiday. Woolworths had exactly the same stuff as elsewhere, but slightly cheaper, and then they have buy one get one half price.
AND we ate pretty much what food we took, eating out only twice (well, it was Misterholic's 50th birthday - he's much older than me, you understand ...).spendy/she/her ***DEBT-FREE DATE: 11 NOVEMBER 2022!*** Highest debt: £35k (2006) MY WINS: £3,541 CASH; £149 Specsavers voucher; free eye test; goody bag from Scottish Book Trust; tickets to Grand Designs Live; 2-year access to Feel Amazing App (worth £100); Home Improvement & Renovation Show tickets; £50 to spend on chocolate; Harlem Globetrotters tickets; Jesus Christ Superstar tickets + 2 t-shirts; Guardians of the Galaxy goody bag; Birmingham City v Barnsley FC tickets; Marillion tickets; Dancing on Ice tickets; Barnsley FC v Millwall tickets0 -

Welcome home, no fudge for me thanks, I can't stand the stuff. A nice stick of rock though is a different matter
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Thanks, AT. We stayed at Robin Hood's Bay, travelled in to Whitby most of the time, down to Pickering, into the moors. We tried the Magpie Cafe at Whitby but it didn't open until 11.30am and we tried to be out of the town by then due to the traffic. The caravan was a disaster - partly first time teething troubles, partly shoddy workmanship on the part of the dealer we got it off - we had bad weather for only 2 days, but it was very peaceful and relaxing.apprentice_tycoon wrote:Welcome back Spendy...where else did you go, Scarborough? Glad you enjoyed your holiday, I'd love a bit of mint rock if you have any left.
I've only popped in for a quick coffee, busy tending my baby plants, they got a bit battered by the wind on Saturday. Anyway I've got flowers on my tomatoes so I've given them a feed and a few words of encouragement.0 -
