Anybody got any suggestions for getting rid of the red Veg dye I put on my hair?

    It won't go away!

Okay, hands up who's visited the car boots today? Or who is going tomorrow?

Me and the littlie got bored and popped out to our nearest one, I now have a roomful of toys as we didn't get there till near the end so Madam was given freebies right left and centre!

The four foot Winne The Pooh that is sat on my sofa did cost me £3 though.

For moi? One small, older slow cooker that was unbelievably still in it's box for £2. One espresso/cappucino machine (also still boxed and judging by the inside never used) also £2, and one of those JML Multi chef jobbies for £1. Also found myself a shampoo attachment for the taps (the rubbery thingies) for 50 and amazingly it fits my odd shaped taps, I can now wash my hair without using the jug :D

I don't know what we are going to do with the bin bag full of McDonalds toys that she was given on the way out though.

And they were running a charity car wash for a local lad with leukemia so I also have a very clean car :D

So who else picked up some bargains today?
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

:hello:Hello eveyone, just a flying visit before I tackle the ironing mountain, so no time for a drink or a piece of cake I'm afraid ..... Anyway went to a car boot sale yesterday and bought an almost new Goblin vacuum cleaner that will also wet wash carpets for £3 (it was the end of the sale and the lady wanted to get rid of it because she no longer had carpets in her house!) I had never bought an electrical item at a boot sale before, so doubted it would even work. But it does and have just finished doing a test area with a carpet shampoo recommended by someone else on oldstyle.... so fingers crossed it all looks fab and I can do the rest of my living room during the week. A few weeks ago I nearly bought a new vacuum cleaner/washer for over £140 from amazon, so glad I waited. I love car boots.... good luck to everyone else going to one and I hope you find lots and lots of your own bargains........byeeee for now

Missed all the car boots near here today as had to spend the afternoon planting my dad's geraniums in his garden - and we're talking BIG plants and about 40 of them, then begonias etc etc. I'm cream crackered. I have loads to boot myself - mainly baby stuff/toddler toys.

Well done you two for picking up some fab bargains. Must give it a spin if I see one on tomorrow - must have a look-see in the papers for likely events.
