Well AF arrived today(i am gutted) with a vengance, all I feel like doing is sleeping and crying....

We are going to look into that Disney Holiday, but might not book it yet. Maybe give it a few more months as we are looking at going in January now so it won't book up....

    Good Luck All

Sorry to hear that Red. Only good thing is that at least you know where you are now and can stop wondering/worrying.

Yeah it's just so frustrating going from a 5wk cycle some months anywhere up to an 11wker other times....

Oh well, I will be having a drink tonight, now.

Yeah, I think I'm closetly more exited than my OH is, although he was the one that instigated the shall we look to starting a family talk which really took me by surprise!

I have been on the pill for 9 years (I'm 28, 29 in July), so it was a little scary coming out of that comfort zone of being 'regular'. But to be honest, I think it is doing me the world of good. My mood has totally changed; I've become happier, and a lot more loving to my OH. Yes, part of it may be because we have made the conscious decision to start a family, which is so special in itself, not to mention one hell of a commitment to each other. But I guess it's also that whole weight-has-been-lifted feeling, that I've spent so many years as you do, trying not to get pregnant until the time is right, and now we're at that 'time is right' stage!

Can't wait till it happens, though. I keep picturing my parents and my OH's parents, who I know will be equally as delighted - neither has any grandkids yet. I don't think they quite know what they are letting themselves in for as between them they are our ready-made childcare! ;)

Good luck to everyone and thanks for your welcoming words so far!

I know exactly what you mean here!!!
I am the same age as you, well I will be 29 in October, however I have been on the pill for nearly 14yrs (except whilst pg). dh has actually turned around to me this month and said he doesn't want me to ever go back on it as I am a different person. So much more more relaxed and loving too:D

It doesn't worry me I would be more than happy to have 2 more children, possibly 3 more. whereas he is only really wanting one more, and that is more for my sake than anything else.

    Good Luck and keep well.

Oh it's sooo good to know I'm not alone. It seems I'm close to you too, Mel, being in Cheshire! :D
  • Hiya ladies!

Well, why oh why did I not remember how awful having AF to stay for the weekend actually is!!!

I have been on the pill for 15 years, apart from a 6 month break about 3 years ago and I was always very heavy, but I had forgotten just how heavy! (TMI I know but who else can I tell when nobody knows we are TTC!).

Here's to another month of BD'ing - good luck to all :A

    Morning all,

Just wondering, can anyone give me symptoms for ovulating? Got dull pain in my right side yesterday, and I have a sharper pain in my left side today lol, could this be it? or am I getting hopeful?

Talking of being miserable (if I am indeed ovulating) i was a pain to be around all day yesterday lol and crying at the slightest thing (trying to plan a wedding in 8 weeks and get pg may not be a good idea lol!).

    Babydust to all!

I can advise based on my own ov experience but don't forget we are all different :D

I usually only get the dull achey pain on whatever side I am ov from. This can vary from month to month. I don't get teary, just irritable with the pain. Usually painkillers help alot.

Iv'e not heard of the pain on both sides when ov but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
If you are worried maybe a quick call to your GP's surgery would set your mind at rest.

    Thank you Shelly!

It was a dull ache, and I'm thinking the left side sharp pain may have been a stitch, had just walked 4 miles!
    Fingers crossed then!!

and I think the tears may have been wedding related, lol, only 53 days to go!
